I'd suggest you trade your boots in for a set of waders if the shit's coming over the top, avie.
Sure this place get's spammy at times but I still and forever will stand by the fact that the C&C is the best forum of all.
I agree, the C&C is a great forum (and so is the Wi/Ht, but that's more spammy) I mean, just take a look at General and you'll remember that this isn't such a bad place, after all.
One of the best part of browing this forum is that sometimes you find nuggest of pure gold after sifting through the shite

Thats true. I found the MArtial Arts club which is like the best crew on this whole C&C forum.
Well, like any aspect of life or the internets, the C&C forum is not perfect. I think that a lot of good has come of it, however. L0ok at all the productive, helpful groups that wade through the shit and to the top. Hell, at least its better than general.

Yeah, both the C&C followed by the Wi/Ht? are tops on my list. I lurk a bit in the audio forum to increase my NG audio folder, can never have enough. ;) But yeah, General is way worse, only good for tons of copy pasta.

Oh god yes. Especially when searching through all the locked and dead clubs. Man, such great stuff. :)

Case in point, C&C > General. Gosh, I don't even think avie goes to the General forum anymore.

Eh, I was just being cranky yesterday. I know there's a lot of good stuff here, that's why I'm determined to get rid of the junk, so that the cream has the chance to rise to the top, and not kicked right back down again by a barrage of poorly done stuff that's never going to be enjoyable.

You could quite easily rename the General forum either the n00b forum or the Spam forum. It's been a few weeks since I was there, but I actually made a thread which was of some use - a friend of mine who is a poster in General (and on occasion the C&C) went into hospital for a Heart Transplant. He's ok physically now, but we'll see how he copes mentally since his girl left with his daughter...

Hah, nah I just now realised what I'm gonna do. As you know I've learned everything about this place, the C&C. Now I'm gonna get into a new part of Newgrounds.
I can get back here in a half year (if I wanna stay away from here for that long), and then just look through this place for a short while, and update what I learned in the past, and still have a good grip of this place.
You know about my other forum intrests, however I'm not quite sure what I'll get into now. But I do believe it'll be Flash.

No, that's not, especially if it was mainly CDs on a special offer.

So not quite as spectacular as the guy who had a hot dog in one hand, a beer in the other and the foul ball comes in. Where does he catch it? What does he drop? Nothing! He sticks out his beer and in it drops.

jk, of course you can join.
At 9/19/06 10:50 PM, DaSadGirl wrote: Never heard of that. Those balls are harder to catch. I've seen people try to grab them, and they bounce right off of their hands. I bet it hurts, as well. And I would never sacrafice my camera for some stupid foul ball. Now if it Barry Bonds, breaking a record, now that would be different.
They're easier for me, but I'm used to playing cricket, where the ball is harder and we don't have half a cow in our left hand to assist in catching. When I get to see a baseball game or two, I hope I get a chance to make a foul grab.
I think the hospitals around where I live are silly. Yesterday, I was to go to one hospital for an appointment about my eczema, but when I got there, I was told I had to go to the other hospital. Me, my mum and my dad knew it was to be at one hospital, but wasn't told that we had to go to another one. So my dad was pissed, but we did go to the other hospital. Hopefully there'll be nothing stupid like that with the hospitals again.

Yeah, it was like, they said to Andy:
"I got you an appointment in three days from now, at another hospital, Green Hill, two kilometer away from here."
Then turned around to one of the nurses when Andy and his family had left and said:
"Three days, that's the time it'll take for him to walk those two kilometer."
XD
At 9/20/06 08:39 PM, DaSadGirl wrote: That happened to me, but it wasn't a hospital. The first place was a small clinic. Then, to get one of those thingys on me, you know, the x-ray jelly stuff, when like, women get pregnant, well yeah, I had one of those on me. Very weird. I had it done twice on me on different parts of my body.
Ultrasound? Those things sound wierd, but they are great fun
Coacoa butter works best for eczema. Put it on everyday and in two years, the results will be great.
And if not, you'll have a tasty snack :)

I'm fine with the cream the doctors say that I should use. According to my dad, in a few years time, there might be a cure for eczema, but I don't feel like I should listen to what he said about that right now. I'm really pissed off at him right now.
He can be a very forgetful bastard at times, especially today. He had to go to work and left the budgie (his name's Sky) outside in his cage. While Sky was outside, the wind must've been strong to make the big parasol on the table outside to fall over. The table didn't completely fall over, but Sky's cage did fall off the table. And the cage was seperated from the bottom of the cage, so Sky did manage to get out of the cage.
When I was just outside my house, I heard Sky and thought, "Did Dad just left him outside or was he not working today?" so I got home and when I looked what happened in the back garden, I saw the cage fallen off the table and was open. I didn't know where Sky was, but I thought he got hurt inside his cage and was stuck there (I found out what happened later). The cage was blocking the way for the back door, so I decide to see if I could get in the back garden from another way. Then, I accidently closed the front door and realised, "SHIT! I left my keys in there.".
So I decided to run quickly to my nan and grandad's house (they live very close to me and my family) and they weren't in. So my other choice was to see if my uncle was home. I go back home and to know if Sky was still there. I heard him, so I quickly ran to my uncle's house and luckily, he was home. I told him what was going on and at the same time, my dad did phone my uncle to say he forgot to put Sky back in the house.
My uncle doesn't have the key to my house, so he had to try and climb over the fence to get in the back garden. He managed and told me Sky was sitting on the window sill of the conservatory. So my uncle unlocks the front gate for me and I see him sitting there. I put the cage back together and got Sky back in. I put all of his stuff back in the house.
He's ok now. It's just what will my sister say about what happened today. I'm sure she's going to get really pissed off at Dad. It wouldn't have been a happy 18th birthday for her in 3 days time if Sky flew away.
Well, my dad did admit it was his fault and hopefully, nothing like this will ever happen again. Also, it was very lucky that the neighbours' cat didn't go in the back garden today and saw Sky.
