Ummmm... Bonus, did you vote twice? i.e. with an alt? Tom's said not to do that. You naughty, naughty boy.
ACCOUNT DELETION REQUESTED, PLZ.

I'm getting an error whenI try to vote.
It says "Error - Parameter Mismatch"
Maybe you had an error like Sinterkaas did? With the duplication of entries? Try closing the window, reopening it from your GroundsGold Menu's link, and then select the five movies again.

There is a problem!!! I got my game on the front page the first of April and I didn't get thing that says I can vote! Please fix it.
Your game is indeed in the frontpage archive and it's listed there as (4/1)... so it's not like it was frontpaged on 3/31 (and thus would have been in the voting last month... and so would your voting opportunity). I'm not sure why it's not on the listing, perhaps it's a glitch.
You should contact the admins, as you have two valid concerns (more that your movie isn't on the voting list than that you yourself can't vote).

STOP SHOWING US WHOM YOU VOTED FOR. PLEASE
Tom's never said not to, and this is the third month the voting process has gone on... I don't think there's anything wrong with people showing who they voted for. Anyone who's sheep enough to vote based on what other BBS users voted for... isn't going to be voting very well anyway, so perhaps its best to let them "copy off another's notes," as it were.

I actually agree with you. I was weary of this idea at first, and it still hasn't shaken itself completely from me, but I do think that showing who you voted for is generally not something you should do. People should make their decisions based on their own thoughts on the flashes, and I think showing who you voted for influences the voting.
What difference would it make whether everyone could vote or not? If everyone could vote, alt-accounts-just-for-the-purpose-of-swaying-the-monthly-vote would be a problem.
In any event, despite what I said to Newenglishgentry, I don't like to post my votes in the monthly vote topic right away. The past two months, I've posted it after the voting was supposed to be over (on the 4th), but both times the voting's been extended due to Tom's busy schedule and all... we'll see what happens this week.
Point is, I see nothing wrong with sharing the screenie of the movies/games I voted for, but I won't do so at this point in the process, even if I *HAD* already voted (and I haven't. I tend to vote on the 3rd or 4th, as I like to take my time contemplating all the options on the list). How's that for a compromise/best-of-both-worlds solution?

Aww, I wish I could have picked more of them. It's hard narrowing it all down to just three considering a lot of them were really good. :'(
Five, I think you mean. Someone earlier in the topic said "3" instead of 5 as well. What's up with that? Can't be a coincidence.

And I'm not even in a top 2,000 experience place. :)
You are in the top 2000 ACTIVE EXPERIENCE USERS. You're ranked #2600 or so in exp, the fact that you're able to vote means that over 600 people ahead of you in exp weren't active (depositing) in April. Capisce?
If not, read the FAQ pages Tom has made about this. He links to them every month.

Hello, seeing as I wasn't active this month, cuz I've been working on The Adventurous Adventures of Buttlock all month, I don't get chosen to cast my vote - Can anybody please tell me if Butlock is up for this month's vote, or will it be put into the next month's?
Thank you, and happy voting!
Buttlock won a May 1st award, so it's up for the next round of voting.
It doesn't matter whether an author who won a daily award for the month is depositing or not, BTW, you're supposed to be able to vote either way. You'd know that your movie was up for the monthly contest right NOW if it had been submitted/dailyawarded during the proper month (April). You'll be able to vote come June 1st, fear not.
