Sample

Arrows to move camera
Drag mouse to rotate camera

The fps is shown in bottom right corner, if you could post the fps and some details of your computer hardware itd be very helpful.

-----------------
18-20fps

Athlon 64 3400+

Hmm, actually more like 10-20fps, when you get all the graphics on screen.

Btw, i have spent over 5 months perfecting my knowledge of ActionScript, but i cannot find any person or book that will explain how to design a 3D Engine. I have the ERain Swift 3D "companion" of flash. I can obviously export to .SWF and .FLA formats. So, i can make the models, but i need some help with scripting. Please explain the script.

Also, nice fps "tell-er." You used variables and get_____ elements?

Your engine is good, but reading from what it has (all complicated stuff that's normally for high level engines), it's way too slow.

10fps is what I get at max.

Maybe remove all the extra stuff you have. I have a basic 3d engine that runs at 20-30 fps withsomething like 80 vertices and lots of fills. I only have simple 2d backface culling and a simple lighting system.

well the reason i have the 'complicated' stuff in it is so that i can make a much larger world that will run at around the same speed as most of the objects would be discarded

i just used my knowledge of actionscript along with maths ive learnt along the way with some help from articles on making 3d engines for c++
