One Song, original or remix of one of your previous songs.
1 to 2 minutes in length.
No general genre or theme you need to follow.

RULES
Must be your original work.
Must be sent in by E-Mail as an MP3 by May 20. ([e-mail])

The song will then be added to a large arrangement and servicse to the public,w ho will vote on finalists, a juding panel I will personally select will secretly vote on the finalists and the last two victors will get prizes of some sort, I don't know yet, but hey, I'm Erkie, it'll be something damn good. Most likly sigs and composition deals.

As the contest leader I will not compete, but I will participate for fun.

Ready? The creative part of the contest starts now, and ends on May 20. You must have your songs in by then, sign up now and during the one week following the start of the competition.

Simply reply and say you're in, and I'll add you to the roster. Don't be afriad to e-Mail or AIM if you have questions or inquiries.

hold up if I make a song using ACID music studio does that count as my own? cause if you take loops but mix them it's pretty much a remix right? If so then count me in, oh and can you send in multiple songs?

p.s. If you dont have catigories for the genes then the judging probably will be unfair especially if your the only one judging

l3it, that sounds fine, but I'd like to stick with one song, it either has to be a remix or original material exclusively for the competition, hence a long deadline.

As for the panel of judges, it hasn't been decided, but I will most likly select them basedon each genre, this is mostly for electronic, but it will or won't consist of me, it depends, but there will be other judges.

i see a problem with it though, it would be cooler if it was genre specific (sorry for bitching its jus that >>) people like some genres more than others and if a good dnb is submitted it might not give other genres as much of a trance (ambiant would be blown the fuck away lol)

It doesn't matter what genre you are, we will have Judges who will have great tastes that span to all genres, it'd be more then fair.
