My game KABOOM! is not intended to hurt anyone's feelings nor did I intend to glamorize suicide bombing, in fact my intentions are quite the opposite. I wish to portray suicide bombers as murderers and to make the act look as despicable as possible. This game is no more offensive than the images and stories forced down our throat by the media every day. If I'm insensitive than what does that make the media? It is unfair for my game to go under attack (I'm talking to you Nita) while the news continues to bring the same images into our homes on a daily basis, the only differences between my game and the news are that my game features cartoons. Obviously the game is offensive but it's the truth, I'm not making this stuff up.

I think it is the fact that the deaths of real people has been made into a game is what angers people most. I like the game as I am far away from all that fighting in the middle east. But if I was involved in some way I would be upset. At the end of the day all that can be said is that you have a right to free speech and so do all those who dislike it do too.

Well, she has a fairly good point. It is a very sensitive topic and it shouldn't be joked about. But, you are right as well saying its the truth and also shoved down our throats daily. When the WTC were hit, I saw them collapse about 300 times that day. I didn't need to see that over and over again yet the media felt the need to feed it to me. I say clips of people jumping off the WTC buildings a handful of times as well and thats just something we don't need to watch repeatedly. I think she's attacking the wrong person and using you as a scapegoat (what a shock right?). There's nothing they can do but ask you to remove it, so I wouldn't worry too much.

By the way, it is an excellent "game" that does show how incredibly ****ed up these suicide bombers are.

don't let them drag you down... your game is awesome and that's all that matters, just keep making more awesome games like KABOOM!

KABOOM! rocks! I dont see what people have agenst this amazing bit of work! If these wankers have a rpoblem with it they can go fuck therer dog with a loofa!

The game is insensitive, but so is pulling off a suicide bomber attack in the middle of a wedding reception (such as the Palestinians have done). I am strongly pro-Israeli, and I am a soldier, but nonetheless, I find this game to be very silly and very amusing. Sort of like the notion that one can declare war on an enemy and expect to defeat him by blowing up your own soldiers and civilians that you've brainwashed.

Of course it is insensitive, but it calls to attention things like how ridiculous the situation is over there. This whole current wave of violence happened because Ariel Sharon visited the Temple Mount in Israel. Saying he can't visit that is like saying Pres. Bush can't visit Yellowstone. It's ridiculous, and begs to be made fun of, which is what you did. Keep up the good work!

Although I thought the game kinda was tasteless, I agree with Tom Fulp. You have the freedom to do whatever the hell you want (to a point). Congress-woman Nita M. Lowey can kiss my ass. I have personally emailed John (KABOOM's creator) and talked to him about his game. He seems to be a decent person, not a hateful one like a lot of you are making him out to be. Look, isn't the reason why most of the people that create flash movies and games are the ones who wanna shock people? Club-a-seal is shocking to the tree hugger hippies because of its brutal nature towards endangered animals. Pico is pretty much about a kid running around his school with a machine gun killing other kids. These controversy games are what makes newgrounds.com so damn fun. So, go ahead, finish the game. I hope you piss everyone off. Hey, you gotta milk you 15 minutes of fame somehow!

First off, let me state that I'm a firm believer in freedom of speech, and am not at all against this game at all. I've spent hours playing....for what reason I don't know. I have a family, and am a teacher, but this game is still a hoot.

Although, before you people go off and say things along the lines that 'it's ok because it's a cartoon' you may want to look into some research done by Bandura. Mainly his Bobo doll studies and the stuff dealing with remoteness of violence.

This kind of stuff can be dangerous to younger children (and those around them), and there are no age restrictions on the content here.

Once again, I'm not against it, but be careful in how you defend something, because you may end up making yourself look and sound like an ass.

Well, I personally think it's one subect that should be out of bounds, but hell, at least you didn't make a movie/game about priests molesting kids. Now THAT would be EXTREMELY offensive!

the only difference b/w any other country and our own is that the other countries know that they are oppressed. that congress incodent is just another example of it. people should make more games like this in my opinion
