I wanted to get this nice program for XP. I've only seen it in a Macintosh before but does anybody know of an XP based program of Garage Band?

we could harass apple to port to XP... why would they want to miss out on banking the dough?

Why not tell the producers of Garage Band to port it to XP instead of the Mac people? That would give more benefits to the producers of Garage Band and people like me who use XP.

the producer of garageband is apple. u think they'd start porting garageband ( an out and out apple product and part of their iLife bundle which comes free with every new mac) to XP INSTEAD of their very own OS.
that's just crazy talk. - they wouldnt be benefitting themselves at all. they'd benefit you alright.... but they wouldnt want that happening coz your on a rival OS

You like GarageBand eh? well then trash ur crappy PC and go out and buy a way superior Mac®!!!
haha. you really should, but heres the news: GarageBand® is Mac® only, and works on 10.3 and greater. it will never come to the windows platform because windows is just not powerful enough, you'd get the blue screen of death every 5 seconds. GarageBand® is way too powerful for windows, only works on Mac® because it is Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (geek humor) Anyways sorry Windoze user, GarageBand isn't available to that horrible, slow system, try a Mac® (oh oh get a MacMini!!! those are cool!)

I compared the latest versions of iMac with my Window XP and I couldn't find much of a difference in speed (in my personal opinion, iMac was slower and had less storage than the XP versions of computers).
I found XP much comfortable to use and there was never a problem in it.
Garageband came in a bundle along with the other programs of iMac? I didn't know that. Guess they would make some economic progress holding hands with Mac.
