I feel older almost everyday. Some kind of lives make you "age" faster I suppose. Using one sort of alcohol to wash down another sort is one of those habits. (Bloody Mary washing down whisky today). I can tell I'm getting older by how much longer it's been taking to get back up after a punch or how much slower I'm typing as my knuckles crack.

Indeed. But, cracking your knuckles, I formed it out of habbit. Shoot, I can crack my fingers just by moving them a certain way. And yes, drugs do age you to an extent. Cigarettes are some of the better ones for the aging process, they'll turn your face into a leather hyde of sorts after years of smoking. That's if you are a dedicated smoker.

Geez, I tower over you with my 6'3" of hight. A friend of mine is about that tall, and she says she feels like a kid, so I guess being shorter makes you feel younger. :S

Seriously, I'm nearly 30. When you realize that the mean age of internet users could theoretically be your offspring, THAT'S when you feel old. As a test, when you start saying "I remember when..." and mean it genuinely instead of in a half-assed ironic way, you're officlaly old. Like ME!

i feel pretty old, even though i'm only 17. i get tired really easily, but that's probably because i don't get enough exercise (read: none). whenever i have to run in my gym class, there's this sharp pain in my chest that doesn't go away for at least a couple of hours. i never do anything about it though because i rarely go out, so it doesn't happen often. i feel better in the comfort of my room.

and here i thought that only immature teenagers visited newgrounds. :P i guess i was wrong. i can't help but think that in about ten years i'll be just like you adults, only i'll be reminiscing about the good old playstation, playstation 2, gamecube and gameboy advance. in the future, the playstation will be considered a classic system. pretty strange, huh?

Heh, there are some senior users even older than you, so it must be even wierder for them.

Sometimes it's like that, other times it's serious reminising. Like my first day of school. I wish I could turn back time at times. :/

Heh, yeah, and my doctor said I might get to 6'5" or higher. I have a friend who was 6' in the 6th grade. He's close to 7', if not taller than that.
"Hey hows goin up there on Mt. Everest?"
I do get that at times. XD

Ah, I've been there. I went to a SmashingPumpkins concert years ago, about the 4th grade. Man, I couldn't see at all. : ( But yeah, I know the feeling to an extent. But better to feel young than old right? :P

Yeah. I look at the kids who are now 13 and think that. Such strange creatures humans at that age are. All arogant and discovering girls, quite funny to watch.

well, if that's the case, it sucks. there isn't much i can do about it though. my greatest fear is pain and exercise basically means pain for me, so that's why i don't exercise. i don't participate in a lot of sports anyways, so it would be useless to put so much effort into overcoming this fear of mine when it wouldn't be so useful. i prefer intellectual exercise.

i felt really old this one day when me and my friend were listening to the radio, and they had one of those blast to the past hours... they played the song tootsie roll by 69 boys, and we were talking about how we could remember when the song first came out... then the first lyric played and it was "yea, 1994..."
11 yrs ago. that song came out ELEVEN YEARS AGO.

I feel old because Power Rangers is no longer on TV, and I feel old because I'm leaving the teenage years soon...which is kinda crazy.
Otherwise, I don't really feel old, I just feel as if I could have grown up differently had I done a few things differently.

Saw the Thundercats Comic (first issue came out about a year-year and a half ago) and said out-loud, "Man, I used to love that show when I was a kid." Kid next to me said, "That was a TV show?" >_>
Heard what used to be a few of my favorite songs in middle and high-scool on classic rock stations. >_<
When songs you grew up with get covered by the current pop stars...
When you find grey hairs...
All of these have made me feel old.
Tis better to sit in silence and be presumed a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

Yeah it does, but everyone has to take that path sooner or later. I know understand why my father has been angry at me, telling me that I'm wasting my youth.

Ah, it would be interesting to live a bit longer. The life span of a vampire[too bad they don't exist]would be interesting. But you'd get to feeling lonely and sad after a while. People you know, or say once knew grow old and die, while you stay young and vibrant with youth.
But yes, it would be interesting as well to live longer to see what becomes of the future of the world, and humanity as we know of it right now.

Ah, I see. Well to be honest, I used to be fatter than I am now. Granted I'm still a fat guy, some people don't call me fat, but by the weight ratio to my hight, I am over the normal wieght for my height. And yes, I had the same problems, but I took it easy by lifting wieghts, a little at a time. Swimming, doing yard work, small stuff and building up wards. Heck, if my father wasn't by my side helping to motivate me, I wouldn't be at this wieght I am now.

Heh, yeah it did. Speaking of old songs, hearing some of Nirvanas stuff, Sound Garden, etc... makes me realize how long ago that was, and how young I was at the time. A bit of nostalga.

Indeed it is. Like right now, it'a about 2:00pm, and it's about pitch black outside and pouring rain, thundering and lightning are playing, and it feels as if the Grim is coming to get me it's so dark outside here. Thus, I feel old once again. Not to mention that my back still hurts like hell from the other day.
At 4/26/05 05:08 AM, Dobio wrote: I feel old because Power Rangers is no longer on TV, and I feel old because I'm leaving the teenage years soon...which is kinda crazy.
Oh geez, I remeber being in kindergarden when they first came on the air. Heck, I still have some of the old action figures, pogs, rings, and yes, even clothing stashed away in my basement. I'd give them away, but no kid now a days would want any of that old junk. Besides, it's a part of me, and I feel as if I'd loose a part if I gave it away. And yes Mr. Nineteen, you'll be twenty sooner or later, so it's bound to feel different. I'll hit nineteen later this year in September, but not just yet.
Otherwise, I don't really feel old, I just feel as if I could have grown up differently had I done a few things differently.
Yeah, I feel the same way. If I had taken school seriously, I'd be in college at this moment, studying the human body. A part of me wants to become a doctor, the other bits and pices are made up of officers, buisness tycoons, video game designers, software/hardware designers, etc...

Heh, I still be on NG when I'm 45, I'm not leaving this site any time soon. I've got to reach all of my goals on this site, 100,000 b/p is one, level 24 is another, 15k reviews, and 25k posts. But I'll get to those in due time.
But I guess that's what happens when you do something so many times.

Heh, I remeber my grandfathers dentures. I tryed them once, felt odd, but I loved the fact that he could take his teeth out at will. Minty taste they had to them.
But I don't know about the crack, you ought to share it, sometimes women can kill over crack you know. Found one guy who had been stabed in the back with a dinner plate over his crack pipe once.

Well, for me, when I'm with people of an older age, I tend to call 'said person' sir at times, out of respect. That's basically all it is, just a term for respect is all.

I don't know about that. I remember reading up on the history of sex, back in 800BC in China... More or less, you were supposidly granted long life, and in some cases, if a man has came 5 times in his life time, he is granted immortality, but it was back then, and proven to not be true. But I guess some people belived it.
