Best Genre On Newgrounds...

I was wondering what is your favorite or what do you think is the best genre of music on newgrounds. I have to say the trance and techno or my 2 favorite ones.

I hate remixes. I think it's very, very, very lame to "steal" someones song and put ur own flavour 2 it :| Think of your own crap for godsake!

Anyway, Dance, Techno and Rock are most deffinitly my favs.

I would have to say Misc, cos u never know what sort of sound your gonna get.
It's completely hit or miss, but at least it doesn't have to be one genre or another. There aren't enuff music categories in the Audio Portal as it is.
Personally I prefer to listen to music without preconceived judgement, genres only serve to categorise music, which can be detremental to the listener.
I try to be open minded whatever I listen to, and tend to ignore the genres, if I like a trk then I really dont care what genre it has been put in..

I like industrial because it has no limits, it uses what it has to convey all kinds of emotions.
I'm starting to dig Ambience because of it, and I've always likes DnB, because nobody can make it the style that I make it in.

Hold on their cowboy, while other people just put different instraments to their remixes I like to change the arrangement around and basicly "IMPROVE" on the original

sa,e here - i like to call it song "upholstering". Its one thing to stick a bunch of instruments in a midi and submit it - but usually the result is weak and not very convincing. Its another story to make the song sound like the original but better. If you listen to a lot of midis they are usually not very good imitations of the originals. I like making songs exact just like the originals - which involves either entirely revamping midis or writing midis from scratch and then converting them into songs.

industrial is ok but to me it gets annoying and then I get mad...
