If the entire life is spent on ironing out all of the mistakes and achieving perfection, we might as well be assimilated to the Collective.

Besides, anyone can make up what is perfection. Most of the known NG members and authors have been doing it for years! It is all thanks for most people to be uneducated. One day, there will be a time in which everyone will wise up, take noticed in someone with REAL TALENT, and should not praise someone who can make a quick and pointless Flash movie within a month. Alas, that's never going to happen. Otherwise, I would be better than that Egofucker. Jealously is not the issue, but rather how the system of effort and rewards work. This is certainly a fucked up world! A place where saying "Go fuck yourself" is a greeting or complement, have "Nude Saturdays" in work, and where creating a movie about cock-sucking the hell out of adorable characters makes anyone famous. Where is the world I grew up, you know, the REAL world?

I was joking around. Perfection is unattainable. But, now that you mention it, I am Locutus of Borg. Resistance is futile.

Remember a few pages ago when I talked about never wanting to see my favorite sci-fi characters as anthros?

Now that I think about it, I think it would be cool to see some anthro Borgs.

Sweet. I think I might doodle a few of my own.

The episodes of Star Trek TNG that were being shown on the Sci-Fi channel tonight included the episode where Data's evil twin Lore takes over a group of Borg that had been separated from the collective. Awesome episode.

So, I was thinking, as I often do, thanks to the greatness of Carl Sagan, who showed me how awesome Science is.

RIP Carl Sagan

Let's assume that there are an infinite amount of parallel universes.

If there are an infinite amount of parallel universes, then that means that no matter how probable or improbable something is, it has to occur in an infinite different amount of ways an infinite amount of times, because infinity divided by any non-infinite value is still infinity.

Therefore, a universe that contains a planet just like ours ours, on which has evolved creatures that are just like the humanoid anthropomorphic terrestrial animals which form the focal point of furry fandom, exists an infinite amount of times.

Okay, we can't visit parallel universes. It is practically impossible. So let's consider this an anthropology exercise.

We humans count using base-ten, presumably because we have ten fingers, five on each hand. There are depictions of anthros, however, with only four digits on each appendage. There are an infinite amount of parallel universes in which they exist, and do most of them (although most of infinity is still infinity) contain eight-fingered anthros that count using base-eight? Although, due to the nature of infinite occurrences of improbability, there would be an infinite amount of parallel universes in which said eight-fingered anthros used base-ten, or even base-x, where x is any value greater than zero (although a counting system based on base-100 would be mind-boggling).

In short: With infinite parallel universes, even the most improbable things happen an infinite amount of times, and anthros with eight fingers probably count in base-eight instead of the base-ten to which we are accustomed.

Thank you for tolerating this rant.

I believe that if you can build up a large enough electrical charge, not no pussy Megawatt, Im talking a huge amount here, so large that if you came within a 40 yard radius, youd get shot away by the electrcity jumping at you, in a room and inside the same room, you placed a container made of some form of non conducting material (room is made from the same thing btw) and in it is a vaccuum that holds Antimatter of the substance used to take the charge contained in a magnetic field set to a timer (just like in Angels and Demons for those of you who read it.). The act of annilation will destroy everthing in the room except two things: 1 being the energy of the annaliation which will feed into 2 the energy that was fed into the substance. Energy cant be destroyed, just converted. But I think with all that energy in there, it will seek a way out, and thus it will tear a hole in the universe. A whole that will allow us to see into the space between the universes, and give us access to it. Thats my thought anyway.

That kind of jargon-based pseudoscientific technobabble might work in a second-rate space opera, but it won't cut it in real life.

Read this on parallel universes.

Level 1 parallel universes are 10 x 10^28 meters away. You'll never see one. Ever. And even if you do aimlessly break a hole in the universe, you will not end up in a Level 1 parallel universe, because Level 1 parallel universes occupy the same plane of space-time as ours.

Level 2 universes are infinitely far away, so it is impossible to reach them, even if you go at faster than light speed.

Maybe tearing a hole in the universe will take you to a Level 3 "Quantum Many Worlds" parallel universe.

You would most likely not be able to survive in a Level 2 parallel universe or a Level 4 parallel universe because they could have laws of physics that render it impossible for your body to exist as it does in our universe.

And even if your hole in the universe idea could work, there is no guarantee that it leads to the parallel universe that you want to go to. It wouldn't be anything like going to another planet through the Stargate. For starters, it would probably be more painful.

What exactly makes you a "Furry"? Is it people that go aroung with cat ears? People you watch furry porn? What makes people "Furrys"? And here is another question, are furry and FurFag two different things?

I feel fantastic, and I never felt as good as how I do right now except for maybe when I think of how I felt that day when I felt the way that I do right now.

Sometimes. Some furries don't do that, and sometimes non-furries do. (anime fangirls, for example, are the most common non-furry cat ear-wearers)

People you watch furry porn?

Some furries do. Some furries are just happy with roleplaying, but others do find anthros to be arousing.

And here is another question, are furry and FurFag two different things?

Yes and no. "Furry" is the original term for a member of the furry fandom, whereas "furfag" is a derogatory term, like how the "N-word" is a derogatory term for a black person. Some furries consider the term "furry" to have the wrong connotations in Internet society due to the frequent use of furries as punching bags and choose to use euphemisms.

You should add furries are individuals, like any person. Not all furries enjoy yiffing or porn. So really, don't assume furries are out to rape someone. It's just like people being homophobic and paranoid because gays are constantly searching for the next rape victim.

I'm a furry individual.
I dont watch yiff or whatnot.
Pretty much roleplay and making fan drawings of my character a lot.
Furries are far different from the punching bags.

On the subject of roleplaying, I never really got that. Can't understand why it's so popular. Maybe it's because I hate creative writing, and pretty much the only reason I have a fursona in the first place is to fit in, and to create an anthro representation of myself so I can put myself in the furry universe through drawings. I don't think I see myself like other furries do.

I was wondering if I'd find a group like this! Glad I did.

I'm a new fur on Newgrounds, so I don't really know where to go or who to talk to. Hopefully this group will change that.

Also, I suppose i'll add to general statements about furries:
-NO, we don't all wear fursuits
-NO, the furry fandom is NOT the same thing as beastiality
-NO, we're not all about sex and porn and yiff

The 'pervert' fursuiters and porn artists only make up a small portion of the fandom, but unfortunately they get the most attention with puts a negative impact on the whole fandom.
I'm not putting down either of those groups, but that's how it is.

...now that all that stuff's said and done, I look forward to frequently coming to the group.
