I dont know how to make the fx - mainly the highly roboticized transformers voices - a very good example of a song id love to make is in this video which you can view HERE . Aside from the video being brilliant and awesome, the song is very upbeat and i wanna know how to make the noises they made in that song. They dont sound like 8-bit - they sound more ...robotic. Neways any feedback on the subject would be kewl.

They sound robotic because most of them are very raw (Such as raw saw waves that I'm hearing in there.)
It's hard to explain how to get sounds like that otherwise, though.

There may be some freeware/adware synths out there that can do that, but most of it comes with software. It'd be complex without the software, but I'm sure there are some complex instructions out there. I reckon you could do it easily with distortion and an EQ.

Hey chronamut, I have a suggestion :) Buy the VSTI pluggin called "Native Instruments 53". It's a software based synth with a hardware skin :) It's 100% adjustable, 200 mB and can be used to make AMAZING samples , including "raw" robo sounds :) Seriously, search google on the NI-53 and be amazed :)

I have Pro-53, and I think he's better off using some of the basic bundled synthesizers (TS404 and 3xOSC) than that.
I know that all the sounds I heard in that movie clip could be made with them. Pro-53 would be overkill (and unncessarily more complex, if you've never used something like it before).

You could try a vocal effects processor.
