I remember a thread a whiloe ago where the dude said you can edit MSN's .dll files to change the text that says "____ has just signed in". I saw some people change it to funky stuff like "___ has just entered the matrix" and all that.
If anyone is familiar with how to do this, please share. I have VB ready, ect, ect... I just need to know where the files are, and so forth.
Thanks.

You need Visual C++ to do this, not VB. Or you can use resource hacker. The file is called msnslang.dll. Open it in VC++ and edit away! Just don't change any of the % signs or such.

Ive just tried this, it works well. Try turning 'Show hidden files and folders on' using the tools/folder options/view.
I used hex editor to change it, but I cant search for certain strings so I have to go through all the code to change something :(

Dude, just google "Resource Hacker" and use it to change the DLLs.
It's so much easier, and it's one of my favorite tools.
