why is it that nickelodeon makes 1 season of a show, then show the reruns of that first season for a year or so, make a few new episodes, then repeats the process?like that show salute your shorts they showed it forever but i think it only had 2 seasons. idk they may do things differently now i havn't watched nick in years
Using grammar in a forum is like having 22 inch rims. sure its nice and pretty, but its more for showing off than anything else.

They do that because there are many other shows that they want to broadcast, and that Nickelodeon isn't quite sure about the popularity/success of the show. While a show may be liked by a few, a whole bunch of people could hate it. Thee are plenty of other reasons but this is the best one that I can dish out at the moment.

i just always wondered why they did that, even with like ren and stimpy and rugrats their first really big shows they ran in reruns for ever. and if it wasnt doing well why not just cancel it like everyone else does, well i guess back then they had the market cornered on kids tv

I used to watch nick all the time. I still do sometimes. Fairly Oddparents, Angry Beavers, Ren+Stimpy, SpongeBob SquarePants, Oh Yeah! Cartoons, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, all those shows, I still watch all the time. That was like....3/10 of my childhood, nickelodeon...*sigh*
