I would definitely like to expand our game-producing capabilities. I have always been the sole Flash programmer when it comes to original NG games, but I wouldn't mind having a team on-site! I would like to maintain a certain quality control with any future NG games, I don't want to just buy up stuff and slap a logo on it.

no, buying (or acquiring) random stuff and slapping logos on it is baaad. (gives a despised glance towards Electronic Arts)...

Best of luck with the inspections. Glad to see things working out for you my man :) And if those guys next door who wanted to rip down the building give you any hassle just plaster there office windows and cars in NG stickers.

Yes we all hope that. I think there should be a huge billboard on the roof with the tank and " NG HQ" in writing.

good luck.. I think it's high time NG started growing into something that had more room. not unlike repotting a plant that's desperately needed it for years.

when you move into the office, dude, take pics of it. I think I speak for everybody when I say I'm curious as to how big it is, and exactly what it looks like. again, good luck!

Great! Your dream will come true.

The front portion, or "the potential NG office" is 4,500 sqft with a concrete floor. Yeah, it's pretty big! As Rog from I-Mockery pointed out, we could play street hockey in there.

WOW hahahha, organise a hockey match every saturday with other NG members, lmao !!

As for signage... I hate to disappoint, but I don't plan to get too garish with the NG branding on the front of the building. I want to keep it tasteful (for the sake of the neighborhood) and will probably name it the "Newgrounds Design Center" or something like that. I'm not planning to paint the tank logo on the exterior, but if I put a glass front on the building, I'm thinking an interior wall with a giant mural might look pretty cool from the street. Who knows, there's tons of potential.

I can understand that, but even..., it would kick ass, the tank logo !!! yea! Discuss about that.

In other news... Been working on Dad 'n Me with Dan and all I can say is it's awesome. Sorry for taking so long! I got majorly sidetracked from all the traveling.

Aww you're making me curious ^^ I'm eager to see that movie!

Just slap some stickers all over the thing, man.

Also, since you have so much space, and NG is a company that does games and shit, you could use some of that space to set up weird experimental areas. Like a stereoscoping area or something if you want to do some graphics for a game that use that.

I don't really know what would go in a large NG office. Kind of a difficult thing to figure out.

1) The signing of the acceptance is taking place tomorrow, so the agreement is not in writing yet.
2) I have to do a general building inspection.
3) I have to do a hazardous materials inspection.

If any of those three things falls through, we are back to no Newgrounds building.

i sure you get passed the inpections. but congrats. a one floor building is perfect for your "Base of operations"

As far as branding the building, i think the tank logo would look good on a wall on the inside, or at least put Pico in there... i also have no clue what the building looks like...

if there's space on the wall where the front/main entrance is, you could always paint some of the pico characters there...

"Newgrounds Design Center" is also fairly uninteresting... idk...

what are your main goals for the office? are you actually going to do (or try to do) design work there, for someone who decides to walk in?

You realise that if this happens, I'll be on your doorstep, unannounced, with my resume in hand before you can say "Don't turn up on our doorstep unannounced with your resume because we're not going to hire you."

You want to put some singage on the place, but nothing to garish.
Then just slap a NG sticker somewere on the outside.
There. Job done.

On all that space, I hope you put it to good use. If you do get people visiting, you could turn part of it into some sort of lounge, seperate from the work area, so no body is messing with the stuff.
