how would i learn to make a game that uses information from the internet? like variables for life and attack damage etc

He does, I taught him every thing he knows :)

But inorder to make a multiplayer web game through flash, you need a server that can send packets and has sockets and stuff. Until then, we can't do nothing about it. :)
