Private Number Prank Callers

I just got a prank call from a "private number" as caller ID.
Although I simply hung up after the first response, I still want to torture them.
Is there a way to find out that number?
That way I can match address and send letters to them.
I know I can use *69, but that's only for calling back.
What do YOU do to deal with prank callers.

Well, use *69 to get the number then do a search for the address on the interweb.

You can't retrive the number. It was a prank call no need to tourture. I don't mind prank calls either.

You could get a private number blocker or whatever it's called, but where to get one? I have no idea.
