the last time i tried to play the brick, it latched to my face and wouldnt let go, so i gave up on it.

Everyone plays the drums, the guitar, bass, and keyboard. But nobody else plays this (at least on newgrounds)...

I play a 5-valve C-tuba. The horn cost over $9,000 new. The one in the picture has rotary valves, but mine has piston valves.

I wonder if there are any other serious tuba players on newgrounds?

Yeah, and that is only the middle-range of professional horns. Top quality ones can cost upwards of $15,000.

Wish there were more tuba players about. Too many people play the guitar these days, and due to the fact basic guitar playing mainly uses simple tabs and chords, people are gradualy phasing out the classic way of presenting and composing music.

Its one of those things that really pisses me off at college. In my music class, over two thirds play guitar. Theres 2 pianists (including me) a couple of flautists and a trumpet... oh and one tuba ;-). The guitarists honestly struggle with the composition element of the coursework, because composition on a guitar normaly consists of a chord riff or a solo, and the course demands much more than that.

A lot of them arnt very good at the guitar anyway, in all honesty. Most of them just do it because they think it makes them sound cool to say they're in a band (which for that sake cant play anyway, except normally the drummer is WAY beyond their level)

To sum it up, i'm just pissed that guitarists get all the chicks.

I don't get chicks I guess I'm just to ugly either that or I don't get out enough.

Don't worry though I'm sure in a few years tuba players will get all the chicks.

Here's my pride and joy,a fucking ripper of an axe.It's a greg bennett custom SG with custom seymour duncan humbuckers (you wont find many other duncans like em) that scream like shit.This thing is a fucking monster and sounds better than a brand new Gibson SG.This thing does everything from blues to death metal,but it does thrash metal perfectly which is what i usually play
