It's a cenipede. Some people call them thousand leggers or whatever. They are commonly found in homes, usually in the basement, and the run really fast. They look like a feather just gliding along as all their legs move about really quickly. They are fragile though and are easily smashed. I used to have a lot of them in my basment and sometimes you'd see one in the upstairs of the house running around. Usually at night, they like the dark. The are actually beneficial and eat other insects in your home, including spiders I think. I just sprayed a ton of bug spray in my basement and most of the creepy crawlies died.
I think I still have a mouse running around though.

I think I still have a mouse running around though.
If your handy-dandy mousetraps don't work, you can always try this:

Wade, I live in the middle of nowhere in Arkansas and I don't have nearly as bad as a pest problem as you. What's the deal?
I think I still have a mouse running around though.
Maybe it's a zombie mouse! :O
Can't kill them fuckers.

You should just make this into a whole gallery for bugs and other creatures and whatever random shit you take pictures of.
Just because. :o

It's fun to do shrooms. They get you so high. Mario does them all the time.

Around 5-6 years ago my friends and I would often take some fishing nets down to an oil slick/Mud Puddle a few blocks away from where we live, to try and catch turtles (snapping turtles preferably.) We saw a lot of frogs on our journeys. many of which, looked virtually identical to the one you have posted.
Good times...

yeah, i guess nature is pretty interesting, huh? maybe i should try it sometime. i have no money though, so i can't get myself a camera. :( i remember the good old days in québec. had lots of fun there. lots of nice scenery. this is rather off-topic. :P maybe i should go back there again for a couple of weeks. hey wade, you know any good places to study nature? it gets me inspired and it's really peaceful.

Heh heh, that is officially the most insane thing I have ever seen. O_O
Great quality camera though Wade. How much did it cost, and how old is it?

It's isn't neccessarily the camera, it's knowing how to use it properly. I could give the same camera to someone else who knows little to nothing about photography and they would have a hard time getting pictures like that.
The buttefly was taken with the Canon G5. They are discontinued, but they ran around $500. Now they have the Canon G6, same camera with some improvements and now a 7.2 megapixel image sensor. The G5 was a 5.0megapixel.
Eventually I want to get a good digital SLR that can take my Canon EOS 35mm lenses. Most of my pictures were taken with film and I don't have many of them scanned.
