z3ta+ does not want to stay at the same reso in the filters section of this particular synth and ONLY this synth. When I try to play the track in FL Studio 8 it goes down to 0 or even when I export it which in the end makes the synth sound very high pitched.

I tried changing from 1 to 2 and dual as well but it still goes down.

Did you hit the record button at any time while making the song and then may have played with the reso knob? That can sometimes happen.

I didn't touch record. It just goes back to zero when I stop or play the track.

Well you could take the long route and just set an automation clip at the start of your track to have the reso where you want it.

Can you give more detail?

Because they are legit or because you like seeing me pissed?

For me, it's both. But for some reason i can't help but think you get way more problems then anything else around here. By all means, FL isn't perfect. But you sure know your way around finding things like that.

I dunno :/

Pretty much both. I always laugh when I see a completely new FL rant by you, but then again the points you make are valid and can smash Image-Line to bits xD.

There there.

I'm really not enjoying the constant onslaught of mixed work I get that distracts from me focusing on completing albums. :(

However what is NOT valid is when the problems are actually caused by the DAW and not the producer. That's whats causing my frustration.

That must be what Basshunters problem is too. The damn DAW keeps exporting his song so it sounds the exact same.

Try going to program -> initialize and reloading the preset from there. If that doesnt work, click on the reso. switch go to last tweaked parameter -> init song in this position or you can just edit the events to make sure you can set the knobs value exactly where you want it in the particular pattern(s).

I don't see where the last tweaked parameter thing is, what's init. How can I edi the events to set the knobs value to what I want. I know how to add automation clips for panning and volume control for each pattern.

turn the knob you want to set, just tweak it. Go to Tools > Last Tweaked > "Init Song from this Position"

I just finished writing a song in FL 9, and now whenever i try to export the song, one track [Arch Avenger Pro] won't play, no matter what format i export it in. Additionally, after exporting the song, FL won't play the file AT ALL. It either gives me the blue screen of death, or FL refuses to...work. Please help, it's actually a decent song >_<

You can do this by using automation clips. Click on the volume control or whatever knob you want and right click-> create automation clip (if it's an external plugin then you will have to use "Edit Last Tweaked Parameter", to make an automation clip, which was explained how to do a few posts above). You can edit it on the playlist and the points control where the knob goes.

If you have a problem with fl, then just use another DAW.

but I bet you wont find any with 0 problems, because these programs were made by people, and people make errors.

When I press a key on my keyboard to hear an instrument for some reason there's about a half second delay. I'm going to buy a midi keyboard in about a week or so and I want to know if there will be a delay when using the midi keyboard and if so how I can fix it.

go to options > audio settings, and turn down the buffer size. The trade off is that your cpu may be used up much more easier if there are lots of things going on in fl studio.

And you might wanna change the audio device on the top of that screen to ASIO4ALL.

How come everytime I select an ASIO driver my sound completley dies. Like as if everything was on mute, and there's no sound coming from any players or mp3s that I play. Is it cause I'm usng the wrong ASIO or it didnt install properly?... I dunno. Halp.

Click on the Show ASIO Panel button.
Circled in red there is a sound output option. I have one, but you might have several options. Choose the one that works for you.

I would just like add to this:

Ensure you disable any ASIO device that you are not using, just to avoid any possible complications.

2 things...
When I'm putting a sample into piano roll, if i try to put a 16th note it'll still play the whole clip. Is that supposed to happen?
And
Are there any good, free lead synthesisers anywhere?! I really don't want to spend 80 bucks on Harmless and i'm looking for aalternatives.
