Assistance in finding out how to automate pitch for a single instrument?
Telling me to pick a higher note is not what I mean, and not the master pitch. I want to automate a single instrument so that like master pitch, the sound increases in one unison note.
For FL native plugins, there's a pitch nob on each instrument at the top of the 'channel settings' window for that plugin. The digit next to it controls the range the pitch nob goes to. For VST plugins, if there isn't a pitch nob, I doubt you can do it. If there is, tweak the pitch knob a bit then go to the arrow in the top left of the VST window and go on 'last tweaked parameter' then automate it. You could also try going into the piano roll, clicking on 'Velocity' at the top to drop down the parameter menu and changing it to channel pitch.
If you want to slide from one note to another, lay down a note in the piano roll, then lay down the note you want it to pitch slide to, the length of the second note changes the length of the pitch slide.
You could also try searching around for pitch shift VST effects.
