This will be my last off-topic post, but my God you are a fucking moron.
----

So, what I can gather is this:

1. Bitrate influences quality, but not rendering speed
2. Rendering speed is dependent on interpolation (???)
3. Lower quality will result in lower file-size

Lol, Put them in your Image-line > Fl studio > Plugins > Vst Folder. Install them if needed. Then open FL, go to "channels" up on the top menu click "add one" go to "more" then hit refresh and hit the check mark next to your desired VST to add.

Then when you want to add that VST to a song go to "Channels" > "Add One" and click the VST you want to add.

I realized even after a lot of time I am still a noob in Fruity Loops. I need help. Can somebody personally teach me, like PM me their MSN. I tried the tutorials, I think I know the basics, but I am still fucked up. I even can imagine the song, but I can't do it. Can somebody help, I'll really REALLY appreciate it.

How does one make a synth using a 500Hz Kick drum to make a pitch at the velocity set to 700khz while you turn the 3Osc filters to max with the z3ta on faders with syntrus in the ambient of hard core rock in roll?

It sounds like you need help learning about how to structure music in general, not how to use FL.

What i really wanna know is, how do you make the full on techno/trance sounds, cause using the custom sounds like Clap and kick and whatnot, is just boring. And i don't know how to make those techno sounds.

Someone help please..

Either download some new samples or get some vst that can make drums ie. microtonic.

Yeah, take the easy way of getting yourselves some samples, or simply layer and EQ different samples to suit the sound you're looking for.

Why would you hate sytrus? It's one of the most versatile synths you'll find.
I must admit, I'm not good at using it though.
Let's say we all hate sytrus PRESETS. =)

Well I am new to Fruity Loops and I have been experimenting with the program. So far my best song is:

And personally, I think I can do much much better than that. Would anyone be kind enough to take a newbie under his/her wing to teach and nuture them in the art of Frutiy Loops?

Yes Mister, I have a question! When using midi outs on certain vsts like orchestral or hypersonic 2, how do I apply individual channel effects on the midi out? There doesn't appear to be any option for choosing an FX channel, so is there anyway around this? Do I need to find A very specific vst for this job? Or is it just an impossibility?

Please Help!!!

I just finished a song in FL using a ton of EWQLSO instruments. It clicks a little when it plays, but it DOES play. When I tried to export it as an mp3 or wave, however, it says "OUT OF MEMORY" and the program freezes. I am only using about 45% of my system ram and like 30% cpu.

Hardware:
Dell Studio XPS 435
6 GB DDR3 ram
640 GB hard drive (7200 rpms)
Intel i7 920 processor (2.67 GHz)

Do I need to delete instruments to get it to export?

Dunno why that's happening, or how to solve it. But to work around it, have you tried recording into edison, saving as a wav, reimporting the wav into a new project then rendering as an mp3? When you record into edison it doesn't record underuns or the clicks that you get when your cpus overloaded, so it's pretty much just as good.

I just tried. It worked for a while, but at 4 minutesish in it said something about a violation of edison something or other and that I was out of memory

Assistance in finding out how to automate pitch for a single instrument?

Telling me to pick a higher note is not what I mean, and not the master pitch. I want to automate a single instrument so that like master pitch, the sound increases in one unison note.

I got my other problem mostly resolved. But now, when I play the song in FL, a loud, obnoxious static noice will cut in every so often. Is this because the mix is too loud or what?

Thats normal with FL. Its just the program. When you actually create the file, you won't hear it.

It's in the final mix as well which shocked me. A really weird, loud, static noise. In the mp3 and wav, it also skips and sounds funny.

Are you perhaps using any demo versions of plugins? That might cause something like that.

Yeah, that sounds like your using the demo version of Poizone. It's one of the limitations of the demo.

For FL native plugins, there's a pitch nob on each instrument at the top of the 'channel settings' window for that plugin. The digit next to it controls the range the pitch nob goes to. For VST plugins, if there isn't a pitch nob, I doubt you can do it. If there is, tweak the pitch knob a bit then go to the arrow in the top left of the VST window and go on 'last tweaked parameter' then automate it. You could also try going into the piano roll, clicking on 'Velocity' at the top to drop down the parameter menu and changing it to channel pitch.

If you want to slide from one note to another, lay down a note in the piano roll, then lay down the note you want it to pitch slide to, the length of the second note changes the length of the pitch slide.

You could also try searching around for pitch shift VST effects.
