Here is my arrangement of Xion's Theme/ Vector to the Heavens from kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. I had an older version of this up, but removed it because I wasnt too happy with it. Any feedback would be appreciated :)
So I just recently learned how to use parallel compression and sidechaining a couple days ago, and I decided that I'd go back and remaster some of my old tracks that I'm the most proud of to see how they'd sound if I had that knowledge when I originally wrote it.
Here's the first of my tracks remastered
the name talks by itself :D
My name is Henrik Thomasson and I am a 19 year old musician/composer/sound designer. I have studied aesthetical music and sound production at Christian 4:s gymnasium in Kristianstad. I took music theory classes, sound engineering classes, various instrument classes as well as ensemble classes.
I have played the drums since the age of 11, and with age I progressed and started to play other instruments as well. Now I own a drum kit, various percussions, bass guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, different synths, samplers, turntables and mixers.
I have always wanted to compose music and create sounds for a movie or a game, and I thought this place might be a good place to get into the business.

The score's are quite lower than they should be in my opinion.
I have noticed in the past, when I would piss someone off my scores would all "mysteriously" drop...
My best songs are my most recent submissions.
I know that feeling all too well. Except in my case, I don't even have to piss anyone off. Someone in the Industrial genre (I have my suspicions but no real proof of who) likes the position on the chart I usually stay in. So I get zero bombed to make room for tracks that don't score well anyway. I get fucked in a very uncomfortable place (my ego) just so they can shine for 10 seconds and fall as quick as they had risen.
That's enough bitching for me. These are likely signs of the apocalypse. Or something equally shitty.
http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/528040?updated=1 There's a new Zomboy remix contest open, this is my try.
A new track! Sort of. It's still a WIP, but it has been for a while...so yeah.
The track was inspired after I'd played Battle Quest in Nintendo Land, and I heard the rendition of the song "Gerudo Valley" from Ocarina of Time and I loved it. When I started writing this song in FL, it reminded me of how Requiem for a Dream goes, and that's how I got the title.
