I consider myself a pretty unique composer/mixer because I write a variety of styles such as fusion jazz, orchestral, metal, and electronic, and I write and mix using Cakewalk Music Creator 5 and various VST plugins such as EDIROL Orchestral, and Amplitube X-GEAR and Fender. I'm an experienced musician and am mostly self-taught.
I also arrange, and many of my arrangements are of video game music. I've uploaded two songs from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Rescored series I'm working on (which aims to rewrite and re-orchestrate almost all of Ocarina of Time's soundtrack), and I have a few more ready to be rendered to audio and uploaded. I've also begun work on a fusion remix of Chemical Plant Zone from Sonic 2 and an orchestral arrangement of the Skyloft theme from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I've also uploaded "Skies of Big Blue", an arrangement of the Big Blue theme from F-Zero X.
As far as original music goes, lately I've been exploring the fusion jazz genre. I've uploaded "Midnight Cruise", an electronic jazz-styled tune that features many lengthy solos. I've also begun work on another fusion song currently entitled "Highway 75" that will be available soon. However, that doesn't mean I won't be writing using other styles; there will be plenty of metal, orchestral, and electronic music to come.
Overall I'm a very, very musical person. ;) Besides writing and arranging, I play trumpet, sing in choirs, and play a little guitar. So much of my inspiration for song writing comes from what I do as a musical performer.
Some constructive criticism on the four songs I've submitted would be fantastic. Whatever your thoughts may be, I look forward to hearing them. :P
