I've done some damn long covers of some songs, but they are way too big (7-9 minutes) and they are way too midi-ish and I never cared mastering them much enough to submit them to Newgrounds.

RainbowRoad from MarioKart 64

Usual tempo part-->calm middle part-->Insane speed part (7:38)

Even in the Quietest moments by Supertramp (Some of their stuff is damn great)

Slower than the original, dominated by orchestral

Even in the quietest moment- second variation

This is the only one I have planned going farther with. This sounds much better than the other songs in this post, and is a bit more synthed up, dominated by the flute, and of course the lovable Juicer II ^_^
