Niether, Bruce Lee was not as great of a fighter as everyone thought he was...he was great at the time, cause nobody knew where to study good Wing Chun(ving tsun)...Bruce studied from Yip Man, and for a short year so did I...I miss his Blush Strokes...

Clarification, I did not actually study with him, since he died before I was born, I meant his lineage of Wing Chun, I now study Hung Fa Yi...

Although I like Jackie Chan, and I think he's very agile and talented, he's just always such a "nice guy". Now Bruce Lee on the other hand, strikes me as a guy you DON'T wanna mess with. And I've only seen one Bruce Lee movie.

They both kick major ass though. And the amount of their ass-kickingness would be inconceivable, if they fought the bad guys together.

Jackie Chan. He has learnt pretty much every single Martial Art. Lee only did a few. Also his squeals are fucking annoying.

do you mean martial arts - wise or movie - wise?

movie wise I think Jackie Chan is better, if I wanted to watch good martial arts movies (which I do enjoy) I would look at Bruce Lee or heck even Jet lee, but Jackie wins just because not only does he entertain with the action and martial arts, but he always finds ways to entertain better, he does and plans all of his coreographies, and almost all his stunts (he's getting on in years, some he can't do anymore, but ha always did/does everytime he can, which I admire :) plus he is very dedicated to his work.

now martial arts - wise....well, yes, Bruce Lee is really good and knows several types and styles, but so does Jackie Chan, if you would pit both of them when they are each at their prime....probably Bruce would win because he has more endurance and that thing he has with blood :), but in a worst case scenario, I think it would actualy end up in a tie.

... DO NOT ASSOCIATE VING TSUN WITH JACKIE CHAN.

Jackie Chan merely does "Dancing Kung Fu", the kind which emphasises on performance to an audience rather than for the fight.
