Ok, firstly, I'm well aware there are threads for this, but they have millions of posts and no-one reads them all.

Firstly, could someone tell me where I can buy a decent mic, or what make to get, then I can do it myself and save someone some time/effort

Or, is there anyone out there who'd do some voice acting for me, its for a game about some guy who randomly decides to have an adventure for no reason. I won't need many voices for in-game, mainly the 'intro' movie.

So yeah... Reply to either part of that. Preferably the first part.

Any computer store should sell a microphone for your computer. And any microphone (headsets, hand held mics, mics with stands, etc) is capable, however newer ones are preferred. You should also use a good audio editing/recording program (Windows Sound Recorder is something I would not suggest). I would recommend using Audacity. You can record with that, and edit your voice clips with a variety of effects featured in the program, such as Noise Removal filters. I recommend you use this on all your voice clips to rid of background noise that often sneaks in voice clips. It's best to save clips as .mp3, but to do that you'll have to download a Lame Encoder. Hope that helped out a bit.

I can do any female parts you have available. Resume and demo found in my sig.

If you're looking for voice actors, there's the Newgrounds' Voice Acting Club. There's also a roster of all its members, if you want to try handpicking your VA people. Hope this helps!
