Yep, she performed it at Woodstock and it's a awesome version. But she did around....I think 4 different versions of it that are on her records. If you havent heard the one from her album Cheap Thrills you gotta get it. The solo is awesome.
Bohemian Rhapsody- Queen
I guess a lot of people like that song so my two follow ups are, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, and Princes of the Universe.
I am a new terror born in death, a new superstition entering the unassailable fortress of forever. I am legend.
"Little Wing", by Jimi Hendrix. Painfully beautiful and painfully short, great acheivement in rock.
I've got a few that always come to mind:
A Wish for Wings That Work by Poison the Well
The Remembrance Ballad by Atreyu
I Won't See You Tonight pt. 1 by Avenged Sevenfold
those are the more recent ones at least that doesn't even touch on the classics but if I mentioned those it would just be a list or Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Gn'R and Van Halen songs.

No one will ever play guitar like him. It's too bad.

You should listen to the Stevie Ray Vaughn cover. He doesnt sing any of the words, just plays a great version of it on his guitar. He really does Jimi some justice.
It's not my all time favourite song, but at the moment I am loving THIS SONG.

Don't Stop me Now by Queen.
A fucking awesome song one of my favorites to sing while drinking... pretty much any Queen song will do but Don't Stop me Now is my personal favorite. This song fucking made Shawn of the Dead for me, took it from a great movie to a fucking-great movie.
Ok this is random as hell and a little out of context but does anyone remember the Black Halos? My friend just reminded me of them yesterday and I've had this song stuck in my head since then.
The Black Halos - Some Things Never Fall
So here, yes here we stand
Clenching our hands
Backed up, backed up against the wall
These times they move too fast
I'm left in the past
But those things, those things never last
I don't really wonder why
Some things live & some things die
I don't really think about what it's really all about
And I say yes
We'll show them all
Some things never fall
My friends they're all left for dead
The words they said
They ain't so easy to forget
My mind just slips away
My brain decays
I'm getting dumber every day
Locomotive Breath, by Jethro Tull. Old school rock... um... rocks.
Sarcastic answer 1-Juice Newton, "Angel of the Morning." (Every time I hear that song, the voices in my head say, "Get the power drill.")
Sarcastic answer 2-Eminem, "My Name Is." (The beginning of the end for white rappers.)
Real answer-ICP, "Chicken Huntin'. (Slaughterhouse Remix)" (That song is the shit!)
I forgot to mention ANYTHING by Ricky J best fucking rapper I've ever heard.
