Should have saved when you felt Sandman tugging you away... I wouldn't have a clue how many nights I spent staying up late playing Pokemon... its just that sort of game.

Yeah, I've actually fallen asleep playing before. Once on Emerald, I was training something, and then I wake up in the morning, and I'm mid-way through fighting Wallace.

In other news, in my Platinum game, I beat Volkner, a.k.a. Mr. Positive-Pants, and go rid of the Snover I was gonna have in my team for a (currently) Gabite, which I'm still training.

I need to dunk my head in some ice water... or something. It's Sunday where I live... And for me, Sundays are worse than Mondays.

Frankly, it sucked. But it turns out that the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum rival is named Barry in AMeric, but Jun in Japan. Also, If I know those Japanese dudes, Jun dosn't translate to Barry.

Also, in the episode, Barry/Jun (I like Jun better, so whenever I mention him, I'll say Jun.) managed to completely get pwn3d. His Staraptor got beat by Ash's Chimchar, his Roserade beat Ash's Chimchar, and only God knows how, but then the Roserade got owned by Ash's Gliscor. Then Jun's Empoleon used Hyper Beam on Ash's Pikachu, ONE OF THE STUPIDEST MOVES JUN COULD MAKE, CONSIDERING THE TYPE DIFFERENCES, then Pikachu used a combonation of Thunderbolt(lol n3wb.) and then Volt Tackle(U R T3H HAX0RZ!!!!!!) to beat the Empoleon. Kay, first off, Jun's a moron for even TEACHING his Empoleon Hyper Beam in the first place, and then USING it, on a uh... Level 721 Pikachu, an electrike type, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Second, what's the deal with the Chimchar beats Staraptor thing? The Staraptor is level 34, at least, while the Chimchar is level 15 or under.

I might be in the future. Maybe a few weeks. I'm getting a new computer, and I'll have to find out what Clauses are. (I don't know what they are. Shoot me.)

I use Platinum.

Clauses are simple rules to keep the game fair and less broken.
Evasion Clause means that moves that raise evasion are banned. This means no Double Team or Minimize. The item Brightpowder and abilities that raises evasion under certain situations are not banned though.

Sleep Clause means you can't put more than one Pokemon from the other team to sleep.

Freeze Clause is related to this. If a Pokemon from the other team is frozen, you cannot put another to sleep.

OHKO Clause means that moves like Sheer Cold are banned.

Soul Dew Clause simply means that Latias cannot hold the item Soul Dew, as it makes her stats too good for Standard play. She is allowed to use it in Ubers though, as well as Latios.

Species Clause simply means no duplicate Pokemon in a team, like, three Salamences are not allowed.

I remember back in the days of Gold/Silver, I had a friend who thought he was real pro since he used the clone glitch to clone his Mewtwon 5 times and then he challenged me to a battle. Needless to say, I dominated him, thanks to Tyranitar, and the fact that he didn't have any attacking moves outside of Psychic >:)

Man if you're gonna use Mewtwo in Gold/Silver, forget Special Attacks. Ho-oh and Lugia wouldn't care about his Special power unless he has Thunderbolt. Mewtwos should always have Submission, on any set, or else the set will get walled by Blissey. Snorlax and Tyranitar could hit back harder than Mewtwo will to him.
Since this isn't the Red/Blue generation Mewtwo should never have Psychic because too many Pokemon in Ubers resist it. Psychic offers weak type coverage, so he's better off with Shadow Ball and Aura Sphere together.
In other words, the move Psychic is extremely overrated.

Just on a side note...
Did anyone pay any attention to the world-traveling Meister's spiel (Diamond/Pearl/Platinum) when he said you could get Pokédex entries in six languages? (It only works for select Pokémon in Diamond and Pearl, but it works for all of them for Platinum, at least in the Japanese version.) I may have said this before, but I can probably help you guys out. I have an almost-infinite supply of Japanese Pokémon à la my Japanese copy of Platinum and I have a French Dewgong to top it off.
Anyone here from any non-English-speaking countries? I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd help us fill our international 'Dexes. Any interactions with me are suspended indefinitely, however... I'll announce it if I'm ever going into a situation where I can access Nintendo WiFi via my DS.
P.S. Is the DSi WPA-compatible? If so, I may get one soon.

I think you're in luck, since I'm pretty sure that it is WPA compatible. Why they didn't include it in the original DS, and DS Lite I have no idea.

It was most likely an issue with lack of hardware space or something.

Wow. That sucks. So not only are you paying for bits and pieces of hardware you're hardly ever going to use, the few positives, like (what I thought) WPA compatibility is only for DSi games. It's Nintendo all over isn't it...

I beg to differ. Back before Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out, a bunch of Sonic fans (as reported by Spax3, whom I can no longer track down) lobbied Nintendo to allow Ryan Drummond to return as Sonic the Hedgehog. They actually listened, but SEGA didn't, as you can hear in the game.

Well, I'd imagine it does since it still runs DS games, which use them. And I'd assume that all the DSiWare would as well. I can't really see Nintendo changing that policy anytime soon, they've dug themselves a hole, and aren't climbing out any time soon.
