subliminal messages

this is scary. RocketDRIVE. yes, that kickass animation that was featured on the frontpage and got almost all rave reviews. it's loaded with subliminal messages.

the line "Kill Your Parents!" is repeated atleast twice that i know of, although i'm sure there is more.

one is in the part with the blood after the scene in the house, the other during the first explosion of the missile thing fired from the tank. although, once again, i'm sure theres many more.

i really liked this animation too.

is this a common occurence with flash featured on NG, and/or is there some sort of punishment for this sort of behavior (if not, alot of "vote 5!"'s may be finding it's way into my movies)?

i'm thinking about taking a little vacation from newgrounds, for my sake and... the sake of my parents...

i didn't notice them until i read about it in a review. then i went hunting. they are subliminal, your subconscious recognizes them but your concious doesn't. and since we're going to making insults into their own sentences. asswhipe.

How are subliminal messages going to do anything, when the explosions are so distracting, you couldn't even realise the message? I would of never of even noticed this.

And before i read this post, the flash never made me want to kill my parents.

I really don't think a message like this could get any sane person, to murder their parents. There has to be some kind of brain disorder involved, in which cases, they shouldn't be on the internet in the first place.

I think they were originally invented to force people into thinking they wanted to join the army.
Now they're used for random things like making you buy muffin mix, or click my sig!
So in the end, it's just a tiny, but hugely affective advertisement.
