I've done work in the past doing themes and loops for video games. Check out the link in my sig for my demo page.

Not on my demo page, but relevant to this thread is my remix of the clasic Mario Underground Theme . I know its been done, but I think mine is pretty unique.

Bezo: Found this club thru your post in the NGVAC. Thanks for the tip. Also checked out you clips in the audio portal. My hat goes off to you figuring out how to not only use Logic (its so clunky!), but also Mac's in general. I understand your aversion to Microsoft, but man PC is totally the way to go anyways. My set up is a PC running Protools and Reason. I find it fast and intuitive. For me as a musician, I need the interface to be completely transparent, in other words I can't feel like I'm even using a computer. Anyways, good stuff!

Yea, it's just drums and one synth. Nothing too fancy.

And either the bass is sort of overwhelming or my headphones are really blown out because the bass was really overdriven-sounding.

Well the synth is pretty thick in the low end, and its a saw-tooth wave, so it'll sound pretty buzzy and overdriven. I don't work in headphones at all so I'm not sure what that'd sound like. The track sounds good thru my nice flat studio monitors though, and they have low end down to 20hz... so I'm not sure.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

The fag who voted 0 on all videogame songs on the Audio Portal at the start of last February is back. Every song I have was voted 0..even non videogame... And my top 3 songs were voted 0 about 5 times each. I know Im probably not the only one effected by this, having 3 songs in the top 6 made me a big target. I think Bezo got hit bad also......hope the admins can actually do something about this...Last time the voting of 0's went on for 3 days. The voting system for all songs for this reason really needs to be changed on this site. Its far to easy for someone to change their IP and vote any highranking songs 0 over and over to harras the music making community, in particular the videogame ones it seems. Hope your hearing this Rage, please talk with the other admins again and get the IP's of the person who did this to our community in the Audio Portal and try and put a stop to it...thanks

I for one will not be posting any videogame songs till this issue is fixed. A new voting system is needed in my opinon...but I doubt that will ever happen -_-

Yah, just checked the site again, things are even worse, admins really need to IP ban the fag who keeps ruining the VG Audio Portal.

Yeah, I got hit pretty bad. But I'm used to it. When you're number one, you're a target to some people. I've long stopped caring what my rating is and more what my reviewers say.

I'm gona post a remastering of the Big Blue theme from F-Zero or a piano remastering of the OverWorld Theme from Super Mario Bros 2. I have a lot of other songs I have yet to put on here, I just feel that putting to many at once would be wrong and most all of them would be overlooked. Including there wouldny be much anticipation lol. Anyway, expect one of them to get posted up soon. It will probably be the F-Zero one though :p.

Sounds great, TenchuX. I'm really looking forward to it.

I haven't done any video game remixes in a while. I dunno if those assholes have soured me on it or what? ;)

I still have to finish Air Man A Capella, but after that, I have no projects on the go.

This thread is so inactive. ;)

Yah it sort of is O_o, if more peopel who made game music knew about it Im sure it would be a lot more active. As for the ass voter with the proxy IP and 20 accounts. I'd expect the next vote 0 attack to be on the begining of April. They have done it at the start of Feb and March so it would only make sense pattern wise :(.

Heh, I guess when the first of April rolls around, we'd better hope we're not number one. Or do you think they're attacking us deliberately and specifically?

Just put up a referbuished song I made a long time ago called Mario's Uber Slide. Gona put the F-Zero one up as soon as a few days in April pass. I dont want it to hit a negative score by the crazy 0 tard. BTW Pavo-MiskicI liked your top song :D, very very very much reminds me of Rareware music. For some reason when I heard it, I thought of the Fear Factory in DK64 and not so much Banjo O_o.

F-Zero - Bigger Blue is now available to hear. The song was done over a month ago, but I waited to post it till a few days in April past due the the appearence of a crazed voter the begining of the last two months. I do however have a Remix of an F-Zero song that is exactly 4 MB in size ( If only they allowed 5 MB song :'( ). It still needs a bit of work though.

This isn't really an announcement about a new piece or anything, but one of my video game arrangements went gold today. :D To Zanarkand orchestrated.

Let the mass 0 voting commence. :P

Okay, it isn't exactly from a particular video game, but it reminded me of something you'd hear from an old Nintendo game or something. Give it a listen and tell me if you think it resembles any video games. :)

The Gold/Platinum thing really does mean so much more than the score... The voting system is so buggy and weird, don't worry about it. <3

To bad there isnt some sort of ranking thing for artist's based on their golds and plats...etc like flash makers get , that would be neat!

For all those people who keep asking if they are in. This club isnt some sort of super private club. If you enjoy VG music go ahead and post and stuff, if you make VG music you can put that in your sig like I explained in the first post :p.
