This is a club for people who make and enjoy hearing videogame music. All kinds, from original to remastered to remixed. This is a place where people who make the videogame music in the Audio Portal can tell people about what they are working on and talk amongst their peers.

Guidlines Include:
No Flaming-
No Spamming!-
No Talking about stuff that has nothing to do with the club's theme-
Try to remain active if you want the club to last-
Pointless posts to keep it alive isn't allowed "allthough Im sure it will do ok :)"-
Anyone who has a love for vg music can join-

People who make Videogame Music in the Audio Portal : if you want to join the club and include it into your signature Im gona think of something to add so people know your not just an enthusiastic listener but a creator as well.

Perhaps ---- Member Of The Videogame Music Club - Music Contributer

and for others who dont make music just ---- Member Of The Videogame Music Club

err and anything else I can think of later-

P.S. Ramagi, I sent you an email yesterday about the club to you @newground.com email; don't know if you saw it yet. I looked at the rules that you posted on the last thing. I have followed all of them in making this club. There is no other Videogame Music club and since you didnt like me using an account made on 3/3/05 with a lvl 1 exp and 2 posts I'm using my normal one to make the club. I don't see why this one should be locked. If there is somehow a thing I have still yet to grasp on making this club can we please talk on AIM so I know what Im screwing up somehow. I am in no way a noob to this site lol. I would really like this to become a thriving and active club on NG. Ty :D

Anyway.........Hope this club does good :D

That has nothing to do with what he is trying to establish here. This is a club for people who want to talk about people who remix music from video games and whatnot. That club you linked just talks about video games with dance and music like DDR and such.

Well, if this stands, I'll join up. I've downloaded a lot of video game music remixes from this site, and I can't say that any of them have disappointed me. My favorite would have to be StealthSteve's "Ghettris". That's really funky stuff right there. A great hip-hop beat to the Tetris style music. Brilliant.

That club has nothing to do with this one...I looked into it.

That club is for dancing games like DDR not Videogame Music.

Email me next time you complain about me. There's no need to post about it. I hold no grudges, so there'd be no need for that, anyways.

But still, you're wrong. That club involves MUSIC BEAT games. This club's talking about people who actually remake or mess around with music that comes FROM video games. That's two totally different concepts right there.

Anyways, I've been exploring a lot through the audio portal for video game music, and I find that most of the Mario remixes are really cool, especially the remake of the music to the Jolly Roger Bay level in Super Mario 64. Another cool remake originates from that same game. It's the music from whenever you have to go through the level before you actually face Bowser. Pretty nifty tunes, if you ask me. :)

Anyways, there's also a lot of

If you read the description of the club from the founder he explains its about Dancing Videogames only, like DDR and stuff. Nothing like what this club is about. No more about this please. :D I dont want admins to get annoyed by reading flames. Just talk about club stuff ^_^

Also ya -FlameBoy-, Sonic has some real good addicting music, Green Hill Zone, Ice Cap Zone and Casino Zone are some of my favorites :D!

Bubble Man Baroque, eh? I'll be sure to check that out. Looks like you have a lot of stuff that I'd be interested in downloading, especially those Mega Man ones. I always love hearing those. Bubble Man was always my favorite level on any of the Mega Man games.

Current Projects
- MegaMan 2 Wood Man Jungle

Wood Man was my second favorite, so I'll definitely be anticipating the release of it. I'll go check out your other material, now. :)

A person who is somewhat a friend of mine named Haroon Piracha made an absolutly insain Cosmo Canyon Theme. It is one of my favorite videogame remixes ever. He also went by FF MusiDJ. The song has gone by two titles as well, Save The Planet and Falling Stars. Im sure you could find it on a simple google lol. Anyone else heard it :o?

I'll join this club since i like VG music. What's the BEST software you know for composing remixes for VG's? I'm sure there's a better way than putting loads of sounds into Audacity. I just don't know what program i should use. There's a lot over at OC ReMix

I dunno about most people, but since I got Logic Pro Audio (MacOS) the quality of my remixes has jumped off the charts. It's a fantastic program with the only major downside being you have to have a G5 PowerMac with at least 2GB RAM to run it (I have 4) and it costs $1500 USD. But it's so good that once you buy it you'll never need another program, so I look at it as an investment.

Mind you, music is my job as well as my hobby.

I use FL Studio 4 but I also have looooooooooots of plugins and extra programs that I use with it. What Bezo has VERRRRRRRRRY VERRRRRRRRRY GOOOD. I think personally the best thing to make music with would be a Mac G5 + Gigastudtio + LogicPro. This coming December I plan to get a new computer and I will be getting Gigastudio with it. Personally I cant wait till it because its gona make my music sound at the professional level you would hear in a game or even a movie.

I'm a huge fan of video game music. I collect both official soundtracks and remixes of Sonic, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, and many other games, especially RPGs. So what do we talk about in this club? Our favorite tunes? All the Final Fantasies have excellent music. The soundtrack for Chrono Cross is awesome. I found some neat websites where you can download complete soundtracks in mp3 format, but I don't know if I'm allowed to post the links. Doesn't seem legal.

It wasn't on my to do list, but I just put up a new version of the Hymn Of The Fayth Real Choir Version

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/view.php?id=493411&sub=20993

I think it's at least 100% improved from the original (for just one example, I'm using the actual words. ;)

I'm hoping to get Wood Man Jungle up today as well.

Logic Pro Audio and Gigastudio are similar in a lot of ways, one being for PC and the other being for Mac. I didn't get Gigastudio because I have been told that once you install it on a PC, that PC becomes a completely dedicated GigaStudio machine and you can't do anything else on it. Logic isn't nearly as demanding. ;)

Plus getting a Mac allows me to be 100% microsoft free.
