Make sense? :)
Are you kidding me?
Actually it sounds like the servers will be working as a team sharing the workload rather than one server staying late into the night, having to order Chinese food for dinner, only to finish Mr.User's request to watch Hentai Magical Dress-up.

The NG servers will soon be the fastest hardware in the world, you could join the prime search and win

I was wondering what Hardware changes were made?
At 3/4/05 12:33 PM, TomFulp wrote: Tim is finally installing the load balancer, which is a big box that manages all the servers. When a server crashes, it takes it off-line so no one hits a dead server (something which currently needs to be done manually). It also evenly distributes the traffic among the servers so they all run at the same capacity (currently, a single server can randomly get overloaded with more traffic than the others). So in general, it should make the site performance more robust and dependable.
Sounds really useful. Well, I hope that'll speed up NG a bit :)
BTW is this in my eyes or you are posting pure white text, instead of light grey(which is forum default color and everyone is posting with it :x)? :)

This is the story about a Newgrounds server named Steve. Steve never fit in at the office. He always wanted to go play b-ball with the guys and enjoy happy hour like everyone else. But Steve didn't have the time.

I heard the SXSW film and music festival is also premiering the never-before-seen, long-time-coming Flaming Lips Documentary. Some director has over 400 hours of footage and it all started from the beginning.

Is this the same festival, or are there two of them down there?
Rainbow Animations <-- for my website.
You see, Steve had to work late. All of the other servers went home and watched Jeopardy but not Steve. Long through the night Steve would stay working. He didn't complain to his boss in fear of being replaced. Steve ate his General Tso's chicken and kept on doing his thing. Night after night.

Then one day Steve had enough of it. He packed his personal things in a box and headed to the roof. "110100 10101 1111 010" said Steve, no more late nights doing all the work. Steve would rather end his life than work another lonely night with General Tso.

But Steve couldn't do it. He thought about his server family and how much they'd miss him. His daughter Samantha was a star server for the little league processing team. Steve couldn't take the leap. He would of broken Samantha's mother board.
The next day Steve went in to work. Much to his surprise there was Tim the guy who always stuck his hands in Steve's organs. Steve didn't fight it. He assumed the position and took a handsome groping. When Steve came through on Sunday afternoon he noticed his work load had gone down. The coffee was still warm and fresh. Yes, Steve was going home early tonight. Home to see his little Samantha.

Not gonna say anything about The Behemoth's nomination for the best new studio for the Game Developers Choice Awards?

Same festival. It has three portions: Film, Music and Interactive.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
It doesn't matter. No Newgrounder is awake before noon on weekends. :)
OMFG what if the server does something really heavy when all that stuff is being reloaded and stuff.
It could crash the whole website and Ng will sease to exist!!!
But then again, it might not....:) (b)BUT THINK!(/b)
