There seems to be alot of problems with the audio portal?
Ive seen alot of artists (including myself) get their work voted zero (without a review) for no reason.

i don really care that much, but u know its cool to see ur stuff on the top list, and with it being so easy to lower ur rating, it is hard to get there (it takes luck, AND a good song)

I wonder if stuff like that happens on the flash portal as well? although its a lil different there since its so much more popular, getting your work voted zero REALLY takes its rating down.
it doesnt really affect a flash portal submission if its actually good, but it does effect music.

Why is the flash portal so much more popular than the audio portal?
I guess its cuz thats how the site started, jus flash/

that's something I have to put up with as well... I have a bunch of songs uploaded, bu I stopped asking for reviews because hardly anyone ever leaves them. I know a few are bad. But I should at least deserve both positive and negative reviews... get used to it...

i love making music, and i love getting reviews.

I truely believe there are some people who go around and vote zero on everyones music jus for the hell of it tho, the only way to combat that is to be a popular music artist, and u cant get popular with 3.00s and 2.00s lolz

i see alot of good reviews on mine, i've submitted over 100 songs to the audio portal, but the ratings are dramaticly low, it fucking sucks.

nah actually after it gets a lot of votes the score would be a lot more solid. it can easily go up, and easily go down.

Yeah this happens to me alot too.. i watch my songs when i first put them up.. I quite often get a couple of 5's and 4's and the odd 3.. then i make a few posts and suddenly it obvious i've been given a few 0's because my score has dropped from its 4+ score to 2.something

People are just desperate to be the top of the list.. I find reviews are alot more acurate way to check out how good your song is, but unfourtuantly when ur score gets capped like that people stop listening to that tune and you don't often get anymore reviews.

I've only come back to NG recently, and most of the tunes I upload are going to be more fun mario style things than class A tracks, mainly due to my class tracks are over 4000kb. Basically I am just uploading stuff I think people might like to use in their cartoons, or would find quite humerous, tho i have uploaded a few banging tracks.. .like WAIG FW.
