What's VC?

VC = The Deadmines (After the boss: Van Cleef)

Usually if you see the abbreviation "DM," it stands for Dire Maul (just to ease your confusion).

Some good things at VC drop from the bosses. Nothing super awesome, but definitely good for the early levels. Take a look at this page:

I'd say stick to the Westfall and Loch Modan areas, get yourself ready for the Deadmines and when you hit 15-20, move to Darkshore and get reputation with Darnassus. It's useful to be honoured with all four alliance factions as soon as you can, for the 10% discount on purchases and repairs.

Go Shadow spec until you reach higher levels.

Easier and quicker to level up :)

Even if I went on the hard way and made an Holy priest until I change to Discipline to help my guild : /

I didn't know DM was an end-game instance. I figure you don't have to be in a raid, nor 60 to do it....might help though.

I'm pretty sure it is. I still have to run like hell every time I go past it, as all the mobs there are going to kill me (now standing at 48, should get 49 tonight)

I'm not in an end-game guild at the moment, so all I've been doing is BGing to hopefully get my rares there... given up on my rare set, Dreadmist. Over 30 runs for the head-piece and still nothing.

Hoping for rank 10 after maintenance. I have about 140,000 honour with about 20% in. Then I can finally have my PvP head and shoulder rares :)

Congrats Polux on all you gear. Stuff like that, with a shadow spec, will just own hardcore. Those DoTs/debuffs, blackout and then a mind-flay can be nasty!

Thanks a lot, but I don't think I'll ever go in Shadow Spec. I'm Discipline spec right now and I'm my guild's best healer :)

I'll post my stats later but I can tell you my best Flash heal was 2200 and my best greater heal was 5600.

I believe there's one spawn in West DM. Go to the south gate (rather than the north) of West DM, and if you turn right to look into the room, it's on the far wall, all the way to the left. There are about 3 level 57 elites there, so you might have to kill them, but that's it. Bring a guildie, and run in and out and if there's no tome, then run out, reset instance, and go back in.

i aint been on NG for aba 6 months ... but i seen this erm 'club' thought i read about and seen as the most recent subject seems 2 be shadow priests and a what build 2 go i would like to add that shadow can be good for both PvP and PvE were as Holy and Disipline is mainly just gd for PvE ...

although i say shadow is good for PvP its best is in Raid and part group pvp ... rarely solo due 2 the fact that a shadow priest is a DOT class and not a burst dmg class e.g. Rogue or warrior... which also gives the advantage of PvE e.g end game bosses... lol 2 much info and so little time ... tbph i may as well intro myself.... i am a UK player on the Server Turalyon ... i am a Undead Rogue level 51 ... All bosses got a chance to drop the Foror, and all the mobs got chances for Librams :)

I always do, because I spend great swathes of time using the character for RPing. I have been doing the leatherworking quests for the wild leather. I bought 20 wildvine for 16g and then sold 6 devilsaur leather for 18g, so that wasn't too bad.

You're a warrior, problem solved. Fear, open and then run back.

I try the same tactic but often don't make the run back due to not being able to tank like you. There's a video around where a warrior solos the tome.
