I suppose it's only one vote out of thousands and if everyone votes for their own, it'd balance out and it'd still leave you to pick 4 others, giving some meaning to your voting.

Do audio artists get in on the money if a flash with their audio wins, or is it only the author of the flash that wins (I asume it is) since the audio is supplyed for flash authors to use freely?

did you take out the ones from people who aren't yet 18? I see a submission in which Squeezy participated, and his profile says he's just 15. I know you can easily change your age in your profile, but I'm sure there would be enough artists honest enough to keep their age as it is, even though they aren't 18 :o
I don't want to vote on someone who can't win :/ Unless you'll compensate them with something of equal value I guess.
Also, there's some FLash that are all by the same people. I don't know if you mind or not that people can vote several times for the same person, but given the extremely huge list of Flash, maybe it would be best to keep it at one submission for every author :/ ( highest ranked)

I feel sorry for the authors whos flash is toward the bottom of the list as some people could have already made up their mind before they get to the bottom.

The panel of judges doesn't stop with the top 2,000 users, however. Every nominated artist is also eligible to vote. For submissions with multiple authors, only the author who submitted the file is allowed to vote. Additionally, site moderators are eligible to vote.

There's a hell of a lot of inactive users. It's entirely possible that he's one of the top 2,000 users and there's probably more than 20k users under him.
