I like it. Turned out very well. I'd say it's got a pretty good shot at making it into the top spots, but even if it doesn't, I'd say it'd certainly make it into the collab as long as there was room. Here's the one thing I think will keep it out of the top five: Water. Since the theme is water it's going to be difficult to get away with just having only 40% of the cartoon with water in it. I bet if you at least hint at water elsewhere it'd be better. I'm not sure where you'd put the water, but someplace. The only thing is it appears that there are several cartoons with water taking a backseat to the rest, so maybe you'll be ok with what's there.
Also I liked the glass pouring the credits, but when the glass enters from the right you need to work on that animation a little bit more. It's not clean enough. Nice job though! Good luck in the final voting!!

Thanks. ill change the glass but where am i gonna put water? it starts in the pool. A glass of water poors out the credits,... its got my charecter waterman( watch h2o ep. 1 and 2 of mine and you will know who he is) . Thanks for the review, ill think about that.

I could just call it: A strange day by the pool! People would associate it to water and it would be alright. The Name can sometimes change your mentality towards something.

Yup, I bet if you change the name it'll help a whole lot. Great idea on how to tie it all together.

Someone asked earlier about making wave distortionsin water?

I have found one of the easiest ways is to make a water backround, and then make a new symbol featuring that same backround but with a ring/donut-shaped mask on top. Then make a movieclip showing that symbol you just made growing and fading outward.

That will give you funky effects like this thing: Wooglies

I made that in like 2 minutes.
Its not even part of my submission.

Here is a water ripple effect thing I made by tweening 6 horizontal wobbly lines down in a loop. Over it is a mask, where I dab a bunch of long skinny lines.

Would probably look better if I didn't make such long skinny lines, but meh, this isn't something I'm using anyways.

For a splash, just copy the water and place it in a new layer "RIPPLE". THen make sure to resize it so it is sligly bigger in the RIPPLE layer. Then create a masking layer to go over the "RIPPLE" layer.
In the masking layer tween a donut shape from small to large. (Donut shape should have a "SMALL" hole in middle.

**And as an added effect, you can make the"RIPPLE LAYER" fade out towards the end, giving a smoother transition. This isn't needed if you can manage to resize the donut out of the stages boundries, but thats pretty damn hard if you used a small hole for the donut.

I haven't posted in a while...
I kinda had to drop out... life is talking WAY too much of my time.
And I have to work on two giant ActionScripting Projects. And I'm developing my own game to do later ^_^ (watch out for all of my projects!)

Well, anyways it's nice to see everyone giving it there all, and I'm glad to see this has become so popular.

On another note, I have noticed some people "yelling / flaming / arguing" and I whould just like to say, "Where's the love? Love > Hate." For the most part people have been posting constructive critisism, and people have been taking it as constructive critisism.

I'm glad to see that people have been apoligizing when others find there coments, insulting or rude, but some people won't accept it because they think the other is being sarcastic.
Also, I made a big mistake last collab and accused another Scripter of being a "cheater / lazy person". Don't make the same mistake. If your gonna say something bad abotu some reason, have your reasons on why its not that good and how you would fix it, or whould like it fixed.

im using 6 head preportions! and 3 head for less serious scenes.
i find the combo makes cartoons very funny (the combo is effective)

I opened up flash to work on a sig for someone, and BOOM it hit me, i still have hardly anything done.
