Will it be a full-length (1 hour and 30 minutes or more) film?

You lucky guy; that's about where I want to be in the business.
I must admit that your animation techniques are way better than mine, but I will catch up to the industry standard.
I'm working with a friend and we already have a story all ready for formatting into a movie or series of episodes.
I hope that your production goes well, as does mine.
"Good luck in your future endeavors."

Congrats, James. Another wonderful story of someone persisting with something they believe in at length to get it where they felt it belongs!

I wonder if it will continue the series from what the rest of us have seen so far... I suppose I could go check out the website but that would require effort.
Oh well. I'm totally psyched!

You sir, are a complete idiot. Really proud James. Good job here. I knew it would happen. As many poeple are wondering, will this be theaters or straight to DVD? Jesus, MaFooFa, you are dumb. So he takes inspiration from one freakin character and makes a really cool one, and thats stealing ideas? I think not, asshole.

blah...out of all the truly talented people on newgrounds your pitiful self gets the chance to make a movie...i feel bad for the true geniuses on newgrounds who instead of making mediocre animations with the most laugable and dumb storylines have their own unique vision and also doing this without selling out to majority ... your movies are like the mummy returns but dumber with dialogue so stupid i gape in amazement , literally my mouth opens ... and also rumors of you tracing animations,i mean for gods sake its Balto juss a crappily rendered version ...i mean come on...a very sad day for newgrounds

Im sorry, I lost respect for you after the balto incident.....

No matter what you say, theres no doubt that was traced. Apart from that, the story of xombie is quite ridiculous and the dialogue is far from decent.
But you may just surprise us....

Yeah, maybe you should try going to his site and looking at the Cerberus FAQ. He admits he used the Steele model. Not to mention, that screenshot you used is the only time Steele and Cerberus really look alike. Big whoop.
Not to mention, you guys add on the comments about the storyline and dialogue like it's an attempt to hurt his ego. He could give a shit. Not to mention, it's a fantasy horror series. Obviously there has to be some suspension of disbelief. :p
Funny too that the only people who complain about the storyline and dialogue are the people who make note of the Creberus/Steele deal.

Another funny thing worthy of note is that it seems in each of the news threads, no matter the topic, there's at least one "what a sad day for Newgrounds" comment. XD

You people suck.
You're entertained by this piece of shit?
Its not animated well, its got a bullshit story, and bullshit characters, you all must be still suckin on your mom's teet if you like this pathetic exscuse for a flash cartoon.
If your movie comes "straight-to-video" I'm going to buy it, and then smash the fuck out of it.

Are you sure you're not the one still breast feeding? You must be to buy it. Even if you plan to smash it, by paying for it, you're supporting the series and movie. I love how people have no common sense these days. XD

Do I care? I don't give a shit if I'm supporting it, I'd buy the god damn thing just to smash it, and then yell at it like an insane homeless person. And then, I'd like, piss on it... and like.. howl at the moon.. or...something.

I know about that link, dude. So he admitted it....and that makes it alright? If I go murder someone but say, "oh haha yeh I murdered them ^ . ^ and thats the only time ive ever done it" does that make it okay? No.
Im not saying that James is a bad animator, far from it. He is quite a good animator. I just find it patronizing that he only "admitted" tracing AFTER he was found out.
Its not an attempt to hurt his ego. I find the story realy boring and the dialogue seems laboured and repedetive. Durge constantly talks about having no feelings and blah blah blah.
Im merely stating my opinion, you dont have to lash out at me for doing so.

Everyone who keeps bringing up the Balto crap needs to swallow a Prozac the size of a basketball and chill the fuck out. Jebus, he traced one damn dog in a couple early episodes out of a slew of original, well-drawn characters. Movies made with freaking SPRITES ripped directly from games routinely make it to the top 50 in the portal, and you people are obssessing about him tracing a dog? Most ironically, the overwhelming majority of those complaining about this are people with no remotely successful flash works under their name.
As for whether or not the plot or dialogue is good, that is subjective. Most people seem to enjoy both (I happen to be one of them), so if you strongly dislike the series, you are in the minority. This does not mean that you do not have a right to your opinion, but saying "OMFG THIS SUX!!!111" will probably lead you to be written off as a moron (and with good reason). On a final note, it amazes me that people even bother bringing up believability in the plotline when we're talking about ZOMBIES. Has anyone heard of "suspension of disbelief?"

That is indeed good news for you, James.
I've always been a great fan of your toons, and that all began with Xombi. It is just awsome to see that a cartoon is getting really big.
The toon (Xombi) always was very proffesional, but this time it's getting big. I like that.
I wish you good luck with your new project, James.
And will it be published on NG, aswell? :)
