I have a midi file I made years ago and I wanted to figure out teh musical notes, preferable tablature (amature guitar player) so I was wondering what programs, perferable free ones could do that???

Your computer should have one already. I remeber on my old one I had one that had gold in the name. Try google and other search engines. Sorry I can't help you much. :/

I use Guitar Pro, hit it into google ansd you should find some stuff, it has a huge midi tablibrary at http://www.mysongbook.com

I use Anvil studios...but I don't think it shows it in guitar tabs.
