That would be a good idea.

ive always used 1024.
Yeah, I have a 17" Dell with 1024 by 768 resolution, and the site works fine. And to all people who use a resolution less than 1024 by 768 but can switch to 1024 by 768, you should switch. Everything looks alot better. All you have to do is right click, left click properties, go to settings, and drag the resolution bar.
i use...hold on...1024x768. i feel it is the most comfortable.

i use 800x600x32 when i play Duke Nukem 3D and other games =D
How can your monitor have 3 dimensions? 800 pixels wide, by 600 pixels high and 32 pixels deep is impossible with a montior. Isn't it?

I have 1280x1024 currently. You should make a poll, that could possibly be more effective.
i got a 800/600 and it would kind of suck if you changed it
I use 1280x1024. My screen's 17 inches.
Hope that helps the poll. I support this idea all the way.

Where did you get this statistic, is there a list?
You could really go for a chocolate chip cookie right about now...

1024 is alright. Most of the members got 1024 or more so if you got a good reason to use 1024 just use it. I think it's ok with 860 cuz you can see a bit of the other things running, but update to 1024 if you need to.
I am just curious... What are you going to do with the new space?

I think he means the screen resolution is at 800 x 600 and the color quality is 32-bit. Hence, 800x600x32.
I would assume most people are using the 32-bit (or highest or "millions of colors") setting?

I hope so... I truly feel bad for anyone who has to see this site in 256 colors.

it pisses me off when i try to play games and the resoulution is bigger than the screen...
I'm on 1024, btw

Everyone should see little Gregory's cuteness!
I'm using the 1024 x 768 resolution setting for my display, so I'm in no harm during the switchover.
Either 1024x768 or 1152x864.
Anything bigger than that hurts my eyes.. (the width of this moniter's viewing screen is only 13")
I use a 1152x864 Res. on a 21" mon
But view NG and others through a browser window set open to about 900x400. Would go to a larger viewable area If I had to. Though it is handy to keep the window as small as I can.
