im on 800x600....
i got an old 15" CRT monitor. hopefully that should change in a few months, though.

I use 1600x1200, yes, I'm rich, I'm powerful, I'm a Microsoft intern.

I don't understand how so many people can use 800x640?!

it's too cramped and makes me feel like a retard when im using it, if people have trouble reading text at a higher resolution they can increase the text size with the browser it's not hard :/

You can also increase the size of the icons and text in Windows.

I use 1280x960 on my both my monitors (omg i have 2 :o) and if im working i whack the first one up to 1600x1200 as it gives me more space to work with \o/

Well, I have to keep it at 800 because I find it difficult to read otherwise.

But, if the majority of people want it, what can ya do?

800x600, I hope NG doesn't switch to a really wide layout, I hate those. I like NG the way it is. :'(

Supposedly, 20% of web surfers still use resolutions less than 1024. I'm just not sure if any of them are Newgrounds visitors! IGN.COM is 1024 and one of the top 200 sites on the web, so I'm assuming it hasn't been a problem for them.

Just expand to 1024 x 768. Anyone still on a res less than 800x600 NEED to upgrade their monitor or something. I use 1280 x 1024 and its still too big for me!

Yes I use 800x600 resolution. Anything higher and everything looks horrible for me no matter how much I mess with my settings. I should just face the cold hard facts that I need a new comp BADLY.

Its way better that way.

Im pretty sure it wont matter much if you use the width and height tags with % instead of just absolute values

Honestly, I only use 1152 x 864 because i dont want it so blurry and huge on my desktop since its already cluttered...

just right! 1024 x 768 is so damn huge! i think that you can change the resolution, 800 x 600 is turning in to what 640 x 480 is = fuck that (in most cases).

when i'm building a web page i have to work with 1024 itherwise my page will be so damn huge, but with 1024 you have to scroll to get to all the tools and see everything...what about flash with 1024 *shivers*

1024X768 would look much better then 800X600.

wow, i just 2 changed to 1280X1024, had to ajust my monitor settings, now it looks ok. still have to get used to it. if i get headaches i know i have to change back, but it looks like a good res to me.

wow! in flash everything is even easyer to oversee now. but i still have the idea the letter are still a tiny bit blury to me.

I think a better plan of action would be to use style sheets to layout and design the site, but I've been saying that to you guys for years. FWIW, my screen res at work is 1600*1200 on a 19" monitor. I think it's higher than that at home since I have a 21" monitor.

1024x768 here. Why do some of you feel the need to act like god because you can read font smaller than a pinhead on a screen larger than New York City. Screen size is simply preference and what you are used to... not a symbol of your coolness. Stop acting like little children please.

yup. my laptop

i use 1024, anyone whos moniter is >=15 inches should use at least 1024 too.

I still use a Windows ME with a resolution of 800x600, so yea..but hey it doesn't matter. i just got a new laptop.
