I use 800x600 (stupid small monitor), but can easily and readily will switch to a higher resolution to view this site.

Acutally I have a 1280x1024 resolution.
Also, most laptops are now widescreen and 1024x900.

i have 1280 by 1024 so mines accually wider than newgrounds

WEll, i think my screen downstairs is 800, i was able to view NG on it...however, im not entirely sure it was 800.

P.S. why does it say 0 comments when there is like 8 comments already. Wierd...but whatever.

I run my comp at 800/600.
It wouldent really mess up my comp if i stick with right?

I'm pretty sure mine is 1024x786, but I know my brother's is 800x600, and his works perfectly.

I have three comps down here with me, one of which has a smaller monitor, so I run that at 800*600 but rarely goto NG on it. The other runs at 1024*768 and my main one runs at 2560*1024(split view), so I'm all for an upgrade. :-)

What would be the difference if you changed it?

Supposedly, 20% of web surfers still use resolutions less than 1024. I'm just not sure if any of them are Newgrounds visitors! IGN.COM is 1024 and one of the top 200 sites on the web, so I'm assuming it hasn't been a problem for them.

Really? Wow, that is shocking and surprising. I didnt think monitors still had 640x480 resolutions available.

in fact, i myself am somewhat insulted by the concept that people would have resolutions even as small as 1024x768

If we are going to consider expanding to 1024, I want to be sure we aren't screwing over a lot of people.

Well, Obviously i have larger resolutions
(1920x1080) & (1600x1200) because i wouldnt be able to toggle between my program menu's if i didnt, but wow... Im just astounded by that statistic.

Im running at 1152 x 864. I like the extra space thats there. As long as it dosent totally kill all the extra padding, by switching to 1024, all should be swell.

I use 1024, there won't be any complaining here. I actually like the idea because then users might not shy away from making flash files with large resolutions.

I've used 800x600 with all my earlier computers. I actually feel more comfortable with a cramped screen.

I normally use 1024. Right now, I'm trying out 1280 by 1024. It's so small, I don't know if I can stand it.

i wish i knew what my screen resolution is,but i was smart enough to delete my rundll32...
