I was browsing through the audio portal today, and I heard some amazing work. I was just wondering what programs they are using to make those songs. I currently am trying to use Fruity Loops, but I am not getting the effect I want out of it.

(Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, but this seemed like my best shot.)

I use FL Studio 4, it is possible to get good music out of it :p, just takes a while to get good at it and understand how to get good sounds and stuff.

Yes it takes a very long time. But i <3 it all the same.

To start out you might wanna check out Acid v5.0 (Pro). It may cost a lot of money but that I wouldn't know.

I don't prefer one over the other because of the easy-to-use BeatMapping feature in Acid.
