One of the things that was so good about them was that they were legal, so you could walk past the police with some on you and feel fine, and know that the money was going to legitimate retailers.

Yes they are class C.

But class C is the closest class to being legal, with A being the most illigal.

I dont know the classifications of drugs, in Canada it's only serious if you get caught dealing it or have under 31 grams, I think,

You are. Class C is like steroids and other medicinal drugs. Class B is speed and weed, and class A is crack and heroin, and ecstacy too. The presumtion is that the higher class they are, the worse they are for you. The class system is screwed up, btw. Shrooms are totally decriminalised at the moment, like alcohol and tobacco.

Well, yes, it's bad, but it's still the least serious of the bunch. A, followed by B, then C, that's the order of seriousness.

The internet should be a Class A drug, in my opinion.

Another notable point.

An interesting fact here: on the invasion of Afghanistan, the Taliban had outlawed Opium and Heroin production and it was at about 2% of the overall opium everywhere. On the US' control, it has raced up to about 80% of the world's supply. The USA has been accused of flooding the markets with cheaper opium and making massive amounts of money on drugs.

There's a reason for it being illegal. I, for one, think all drugs should be legal. Let's lose the criminal element, guys. Drug laws were originally started to oppress blacks, anyway.

I agree, with shrooms being legal they were probably one of the least 'cool' drugs out their, which i suppose is a good thing meaning less kids wanted to do them.

It is a joke. There should be regulation and taxation of psychedelic substances, agreed. Ie people shouldnt drive or be in a position of great power over someones life whilst hallucinating. Ie doctors and the army shouldnt be on them at work. But as for everyone else, what difference does it really make? I can guarantee that everyone likes a musician, who was dependent on a particular substance. Everyone.

Yes.. the figures 2 years ago for XTC is 100 recorded deaths.. and most of those were linked to people being stupid and taking way to many, not drinking enough or too much water, or mixing it with alot of alchohol.

I bet there are more than 100 alchohol related deaths a day for alcohol.

Drugs.. all of them.. alcohol included... are not good for your body. But they can lead to you being alot more open minded and genuin(Excluding alcohol)

They can make you realise whats important in life, can make you understand things, make you think. But you do them too often and too much and u'll fuck up.

Drugs are a choice that should be made available to everyone. They should be controlled, pure and clean. Instruction should be given in school how to take them safely... the effects good and bad, short and long term.

You tell a teenager not to do something they go and do it... if there wasn't a law against these things, how many of them would still do it? Its natural rebellion, we all go through it from one way or another, unless you had really cool understanding parents that treated you like a human being instead of an object.

Again, i meant no disrespect because of your name, i was just comparing a legal popular, dangerous DRUG with an illegal, dangerous DRUG. :S why the hell was she naked anyway, something tells me its to do with the company she kept that she ran on to the road. What i really meant anyway, is that people on hallucenogenics should have a sober sitter who can look after them to prevent things like this happening. But while it is an unfortunate death, i blame the mind set and the setting as much as the drug itself. Was she intentionally insanely fried? Did her 'friends' make sure she was comfortable and happy? By this result, i can be sure the answer is no.

My main point really, is that while nearly all drugs can cause death, society sets it up so that people get in trouble and die if there is something that it doesnt like. There is no care for people on drugs, as it is clearly all their own faults, and any issues they have with society clearly dont exist....

I have taken mushrooms and have always known that running into the road, or out of a window, or off a cliff, is not a smart idea, even when you're under the influence.
