It has been eons since the jolly ole' days of Street Life, Blundercats, the demise of tupac, and Star Wars Gangsta Rap. And here I am seeing all these great new artists and works that can rival Hollywood - it almost draws tears to my eyes, but not quite, 'cause there are still uncomfortable amounts of rainbow-colored stickmen shooting explosive rainbow rubberbullets. Well maybe not, since I barely looked at the portal in the past year (or something), but I'm sure there are still crap movies/games in there that are equivalent to rainbow stickmen and Cronenberg movies, like rainbow airplanes and tanks. But that doesn't matter, 'cause I think I just lost myself.
For old NG'ers (hehe "NG'ers") who remembers me, I did the Star Wars Gangsta Rap in the Portal like 20 years ago. Don't worry I am not quite back from the dead yet, maybe not in another 20 years, 'cause I sorta moved onto digital film from flash... Well I can still do flash if I wanted, but I won't explain because the excuses such as "lack of time" and "school" gets pretty stale. I am just here to share with you some news about my one-hit-wonder: Star Wars Gangsta Rap, now licenced exclusively to atomfilms.com
You can read the coverage here. From starwarz.com itself.
See that contest they got going on about awards to star wars fanfilms hosted by Lucas himself? You bet I'm entering, dunno if I'll win, but it seems like a popular thing to do since everyone around me says so.
Well in the future I will think about submitting more flash schtuff if I manage, 'cause I do honestly miss newgrounds. But for now I have to go back to writing some stupid ass essay about some abstract video art-flick done in the 80's.
