~shrug~ ah well, 'tis over. I live ~half an hour from Boston. I don't particularly care about baseball or American football, but it's certainly been amusing to live here for it.

The best time I had due to the Red Sox was right after the World Series. It's not often you get to watch live coverage, from elevated positions, of riot-control teams forming up before they go in, watching them move in for crowd control, and watchng the tactics (in all their glory and lack of it) in use. IMO the assault teams are the best bit, and are hysterical to watch ... providing you aren't on the receiving end of it. I stayed up until 2am watching the cops trying to take back the city lol

Its a conspiracy. the PATRIOTS won tonight as the USA was bombing Iraq. The PATRIOTS won the year the USA entered the war and the PATRIOTS won after 11 September.
