NG is like a big place artist and Viewers can get together. like a big indie media place for everyone. you could even get great exposure for yourself by just being on newgrounds. Would I pay for it I think if they made a higher membership then this one and it only cost alittle bit I might do it. NG is a great internet tool and great place I couldn't live without it.

I think 1/3 to 1/2 of the users would "opt out" meaning a lower yearly income.
that income would reduce the need for pop-ups :P
that income would make rewards from the NG Administration a lot bigger
that income would mean NG is around for a LONG LONG time :)
$10 is about the cost of a movie for one person = 2-3hrs of entertainment
$10 for 1 whole year of entertainment & amusement ... not a bad deal :P

I wouldn't pay anything because I already pay for friggin' broadband.

No i wouldent, i love newgrounds but i work for it. I work hard to get all the shite out of the portal and encourage the good artists to make more with constructive reviews. I wouldent pay for it, no.

Yeah that's the most I'd pay. I love NewGrounds, but paying for things on the internet is a pain in the ass and real annoying. Which is partly the reason why I don't own any of those MMORPGs like World of Warcraft or City of Heroes.

I'd pay because I truly like NG & $10 ($15 Candian) is no big deal ... for a whole year ... it would be a decent deal ... IF they accepted cheques (checks)

I agree in that we all do a job for NG, but we get a lot in exchange.

However, if I did pay for the membership, I would expect a larger admin presence, and a quicker response to issues and problems.

as much as i use NG, i wouldn't, especially considering all the time i've spent using NG for free now. it'd just really burn us if we had to start paying. i wouldn't and wouldn't suggest anyone else to either. this site's been up for a decade now and it's always been free. why should that be any different now? i know this was a rhetorical question, but if that ever happened, i'd have to boycott the site.
