An Audio Board???

Do you think NG will ever put up an Audio Board. With an entire section of the site devoted to the Audio Portal I think it would be a cool and smart thing to do. It would be able to to let musicians like myself have a better way of contacting chatting with other ones and also allow Flash people to get music help for their work in a designated area where they would be sure to find the help they need fast. Anyway, just wondering if there has been any thought into doing this here on NG. I'm sure it would get lots of posts and activity.

Tom has been thinking about that, because of recent request but it takes alot of time to please about 1 million people everyday.

I don't think it's going to happen.
There is an idea, however, which has a much better chance of being done; a music request form for flash authors that musicians can browse through and try to meet.

the audio portal needs more special features (ie its own bbs, better ways to vote/do the top 10, etc)_

I just think with an entire section of NG devoted to the Audio Portal it would make sense. I dont see Political Portal, but thats a board :p. It just makes sense to have a board for audio. Also HouseMasta is right, more features for audio would probably get more musicians into the portal.
