There's an MSN, Yahoo, AOL and a hell of a lot of others, but should there be a Newgrounds messenger. I've already sent my idea to them.

Why the hell do we need an NG messanger when you have NG and AIM, just waitng there for you. All an NG messanger would do is kill bandwidth.

How would it be any different from msn, windoze msgr,or AIM? If it were online, it would be Exactly like chat. If you downloaded it, yeah, that would be teh silly, unless it's somehow better.
One point this does raise is having a list to see who's online and who isn't. That would be cool. However, there's always the "who's online" section of the BBS you can refer to. . .

Personally I don't think it's that bad of an idea. I'm sure if he means a an instant messenger you download or a BBS messenger where you can send provate messages to users through the BBS system, and if you have messages a pop up window will alert you. Didn't they have a similar feature in some other forums related to NG? Like i think the old clock crew website had something like that. Anyways I know some of the precoded BBSs have that feature, so its not like you just thought it up now. If you actually mean a downloadable Instant messenger then I don't really see the point, what difference is it from AIM, MSN, or ICQ?
Nope don't like it sure maybe one day when there is zillions of folks and it's worth the time and MONEY to put into a messanger however. Just use any of the other messangers they work just as fine and if ya really wanted to just get everyone to convert to one messanger and use that voilia no using of the bandwith of newgrounds and you still got friends...:P
