My lord, for tomorrow I am fucked.

I got my Chemistry exam and I'm doing the Higher paper even though I'm only in set 2. The problem is....I never did anything in Chemistry. The teacher made us copy weird things of the board (-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-)...summat to do with carbon.

And then I just talked to him about Led Zeppelin and musicians in thw 70's. I've learnt more about music from him than I have about chemistry. :( I'm sooooo gonna fail tomorrow.

A piece of advice: Get off NG and open you textbook. Scan read, you'll pick up the most facts that way.

Revising has never been my thing. It does nothing for me. Want I do is just write everything down in lesson and it normally sticks in my brain, and I've never had a problem in any of my subjects (not even Maths....which I thought I was destined to fail without revision, but I feel as though I did very well).

Maybe it'll all come rushing back to me tomorrow (hopefully).

Now then someone pass the crumpets. one is hungry and needs some lunch.

I did A-Level chemistry and can tell you Polymerisation is the joining together of carbon chains to form longer structures, developing plastics.

OMG! That's the first time I've had to use chemistry like that. (Though I did use a lot of the chemistry of PET: Poly-ethylene-teraphthalate in my degree course.) Plastics are fun.

I didn't enjoy chemistry at all. All the stuff I've never covered. Probs cause I'm only in Set 2. Still hopefully my Biology and Physics coursework shall pull it up to a C or more.

Its also amazing how these exams are overhyped. I was expecting to be shitting my pants daily but I'm not at all. And I've only got 3 left - 2 Business Studies (which I hope to do well on since I'm taking it at 6th form, and Physics).

Would these be the powers of accidently vomiting on repulsive teachers or the powers of liberty and freedom? Neither seem very popular in America.

I always preferred NG (Nitro-Glycerine) as it was far more explosive then TNT, which is cumbersome. Back in early 2002, we stole a small ammount of NG and put it in the middle of the football pitch, before setting it off. The bang was more than expected and we really had to run, because it attracted quite a few people from the surrounding Hall of Residence.

You have a wierd way of showing it. When your first post was accompanied by a picture of wrestling (A more phoney sport then even American Football), I just dismissed you as a spammer. If you wish to post, you are quite welcome to do so, but please stick to the topic at hand.

It was in air-conditioned storage and one of the PhD students had the keys. I'd been shagging her for a few weeks, so she agreed to allow us to perform a few experiments. We did, but I kapt a sample back. it was hell going home, because I had to walk the 6 miles, to avoid it getting to 'excited' on the bus.

After much delving through web based dictionary sources, I have concluded that I am enjoying (not suffering from) Satyriasis: Excessive sexual desire in males.

Not a household word, as it's either taken for granted or the males who believe they have this condition call it Nymphomania.

In an equality based society, I could have either.

Is this the Nitro Gylcerin getting too excited and exploding, plastering the surrounding area with a new colour, blood n' gore (available at all BBQ and Homebase stores, in Dulux, Dulux Double Matt and Dulux Dulux) or was this from preventing yourself getting too excited with the PhD student?

Personally one can't stand the new series, if you watched them through your childhood like I did and then saw the whole story twisted and contorted... *shudders*
You’d feel the same.
I watch that last episode it made me sick... That actor has tarnished the Dr Who character and as for Billy piper and her motley crew... Ugh… just don't get me started...
And the new? New Dr who... even worse than the current one...
If it where up to me I'd have everyone involved in casting and writing the new series castrated.

I'm sorry old chaps but that’s just the way I feel...

I agree, although I have a better word to describe my feelings;

EXTERMINATE!

MWHAHAHA! I do ever so love my habit of sneaking up behind people and playing that, followed by a joint dalek gun firing noise and zap with some electric shock inducing device.

What do you think of the 10th Doctor, David Tenant? I don't like the look or manner of him, he'd better be good when it comes to actually acting....

Its his dream part. He said the whole reason he became an actor was to play the Doctor. So he will give it 100% whether or not he is as good as eccleston? Only time will tell but either way at leats they are continuing the series. even if Tenant sucks they cna just use another regenration tog et someone better in.

I rember being prepared for the new Dr Who series to be total crap, but it actually turned out to be very good. Not a remake at all, more like a natural evolution.

Hmmm.... I don't like the way he tried to pick up Eccleston, that's what no Doctor should do, as he has evolved. He isn't the same, he has a new personality etc. well, we'll see at Christmas.

We don't know what his personality is yet. It might be similar to ecclestons but with subtle differences. Don't judge him till you see the xmas specials :P

Read the quote again. I was trying to stop the molecules of NG getting too excited, causing a rather nasty explosion on the 95 bus (Clarence Dock, to Bodington Hall.) I had to go all the way from the University, which was in the city Centre, practically into Bradford to sort out my 'experiment'

In other news, England beat Australia by 3 wickets, keeping Australia out of the win column since they touched down on English soil just over a week ago.

Michael Schumacher looks set to win the US Grand Prix, after ALL the michelin runners pulled out of the race, due to tyre problems. Michelin hoped that the FIA would alter the track, putting a chicane into the final turn, slowing the cars down and easing the wear on the tyre's side walls.

Unusual little snippet last: In the cricket today, I managed to get sunburnt during a game which was abandoned for rain just after the interval. I chalked up my first duck of the season in a below par batting performance by the whole team. The vice captain slipped, delivering the first ball of our opponent's innings and the Umpire called it off for dangerous conditions.
