English breakfast is clearly the best tea in the known universe.

D: Tea without milk? How can you say such a thing!?
Also tetleys>PG tips.

2 in the morning, I can understand, but 2 in the afternoon? That's a perfectly reasonable time to start destroying the walls. You'd already decided that they weren't structural, so carry on!
The neighbour next door come over demanding that the noise which started at ' God only know what time this morning' ( I started wallpaper stripping at about half 11. Not an unreasonable time) stop. She had a very aggressive tone demanding to speak to my mom ( who has been over seeing the vast majority of the work at the house). I then informed her that I was the owner of the house and upon realising this her tone changed drastically and went into really submissive, and trying to negotitate and all kinds of crap.
I love seeing how people are willing to back track once new evidence comes to light. You're very lucky to enjoy stuff like that :)

We had old neighbours for almost 15 years - they died and we've had a young family move in next door. Makes me feel quite old :P

Some tea without milk is nice, but I can go either way - the consequence of living in a house where milk is either bought by me or sitting in the fridge gone off.

I prefer a nice cup of PG, but then again, this Twinings Everyday is starting to grow on me.

I went through a phase of drinking my tea without milk, because with milk it just wasn't strong enough. I do like my tea to be nice and strong, but to be honest I think it's a little bit nicer with milk in it, even if the milk takes a bit of the edge off.
Like you though, I can go either way.

Ah, Twinings.
I'm impartial most of the time; I couldn't really tell the difference unless they were next to eachother.
I don't actually drink much tea. I'm not a big fan of hot drinks, so I usually wait for it to cool down, which destroys one of the things which makes tea so loved. Same with hot chocolate.
Still, I love a cup of either when someone can be bothered to make it for me *cough*Butler*cough*.

Ouch, that's harsh. What'd they take? And did you manage to get it all back?
I was down in Blackpool about a week ago (only Pleasure Beach, but there you go). I was wondering, how many fotune tellers can you actually fit on one street? There was one every 5 shops.
I also got addicted to those 2p machines, didn't do too badly either =)
As for my neighbours, they aren't that bad. One of them is a tad obsessed with conspiracy theories, thinks everything he reads on the internet is true, and his wife asks us for kisses on the cheek, but they're nice people (and they give us little gifts for our birthdays and the like).

To be totally honest... he doesn't really pull it off all that well. He kinda looks like a bit of a nerd.
I walked past him with a large group of friends one time, and seeing as we were on our way to a club we'd already been drinking, and one of the guys says very loudly (and knowingly within earshot of the pipe-smoking dude), "who the FUCK smokes a PIPE? WHAT THE FUCK?"
I turned around in time to see the poor guy shuffling off sadly. Was pretty funny though, lol.

I find that the best tea is either Tetleys or Waitrose tea, which I have the a wee bit of milk, and two sugars. They're so good I could make ode after ode about their loveliness :)

Haha, he sounds like my dad, who constantly tells me at dinner about current UFO sightings, or how our country/the world is doomed.
Tea & Biscuits anyone? I have Benson serving.

Just gone 2am where I live, but tea just seems right any time of the day.
I wish I actually had a butler IRL. That would be so awesome when I roll into my flat drunk at 7am craving a pizza and a beer, which he could promptly prepare for me.

Until then, I still have a mother =P
Also, some of you may have some pretty nasty storm clouds heading your way. The thunder woke me up about 2 hours ago (Birmingham).
Thankfully, it went rather quickly too. But it's pretty nasty; there were two sets of fire engines that went past my house (to different places).
Apparantly, Leicester and Stoke got hit pretty hard too. Also, most of us have loads of rain to look forward to over the next 2 days.

It was headed East according to the BBC; I suppose you got lucky.
However, few will escape the GIANT PATCH OF LIGHT RAIN!

Well, I never heard that, being some 20 miles away from Central Brum.
About half eight this morning, we had a large bout of thunderstorms and I decided that I wouldn't be cycling to work today. Sure, a little water means I get a little wet, but the offer of a Faraday Cage was the final underlining draw.

I'm in Brum and I heard it as well. I was laying in bed listening to the rain and then this huge clap of thunder which lasted for like 15 seconds made me jump out of my skin.

i totally slept though the thunder and lightning ahha!

I think it's safe to say Poole has dodged the vile weather, it's lovely and sunny over here :D
tad cloudy earlier though

I know what you mean about milk and coffee without milk. About a year ago I wouldn't even think of having coffee without milk, and now I rarely ever have it with any milk at all. I've always preferred tea with no milk towards with some.

A storm? It's been boiling over here. Mind you, Derby is far to the north of London, and I live just to the South of it.
Speaking of London, what part of the city are you from, NEVR?
I love England! I fell in love with your fine country when i went to London this winter. I want to move there! (I live in Sweden so hopefully i may be able to fullfill that wish!)

Well then sir, I suggest you crank up that volume and annoy your neighbours ;P
If it were a detached house this would be harder to do.

Westernmost London... Uxbridge.

Is it that bad to live in a better climate with an overall cheaper economy? You can even bring your butler, and buy a house twice the size than the one you own for the same amount of money.
