I don't remember seeing a post here that has actually needed moderating for a long time, though. I guess the sheer modly prescence must be enough to scare off the fuckwits.

Hmm, I wonder if the 'police state' of this highly patrolled route on the BBS has anything to do with it at all? I hate to break up this wonderous streak of modships, but I'm not in the party, so I'll sulk :P

Good call, milk and two, if you please.

Well, I should be doing the rest of my chemistry assignment. And look where I've ended up at 2 in the morning. I'm gonna have trouble waking up in 6 hours :P

I remember those days fondly - that's how I discovered Ice Hockey and Baseball... well, rediscovered Ice Hockey.

Jolly good old boy. Sitting down to watch the rugger this evening? With the Frogs getting a win over the Tafs in Paris, there's a real chance we can make this a four horse race today, though we are going to have to see what's what after our trip to Croake Park.

Yeah, it's setting us up nicely to break some Scots in the Calcutta Cup.

I've noticed that no refs tend to like England. Must be because we're better than them, as they aren't English.

I posted this in the Birmingham meet up thread but I'll psot it here as well.

I'm no longer going to be able to make it on Saturday guys. My apologies but real life has got in the way and needs to be dealt with. It's nothing major in the sense that I'm npt phsyically harmed or anything like that I'm just knocked for 6 so to speak.

Have fun, and I'll try and make the next meet up where hopefully shit won't be flying in my face. = (

Ohhhh :(

Well, like I also said in the Birmingham meet thread, I'm going to be turning up late on Saturday. The highest-ranked blackbelt in Europe is coming down to take our training session, so that's something that I absolutely refuse to miss.

Who else is coming other than Coop, BBM, and myself?

Hopefully there's some other people coming along, but otherwise it's going to be a bit of a small meet, especially with me turning up late.

Not sure exactly how long it takes to get from west london to birmingham (I imagine a few hours), but as I'll be leaving here at around 2:30-3pm, I'm probably going to turn up by the time you guys are finishing bowling.

Bahh, I need to get my arse down to the next London meet. I could come to Brummieland but getting through uni this year and being with my family as much as I can (don't ask chaps) is more important right now :(

I'm not really interested in F1. The idea of sitting in front of a TV watching cars do uniform laps around a track for several hours, in which the only excitement is when one car overtakes another car (OOOOOHH WOWW), waiting for the slim possibility of a crash or someone spinning out, does not appeal to me so much.

Sorry F1 fans, that's my feeling on the matter ;P

You secretly love it really mate. If you don't get off on all the noise they make then you're not a man :P And the FIA have brought slicks back this year, awesome.

I've started occasionally drinking my tea with milk and 2 sugars instead of just milk. I never used to like sugar in my tea before but it's actually quite nice every now and again. I'm having a cup now, as it happens.

After nearly 20 years I still like mine milky. Hehe.

I can't stand too much milk in tea. A lot of my flatmates like loads of milk in theirs, but TBH if there's too much in it, you just end up getting the taste of warm milk and no tea. I like strong flavours so milky tea is pretty much my worst nightmare.

Used to just drink my tea black with no sugar. That's still how I drink my coffee.

I can't drink coffee, that shit is too strong for me. You can't beat a couple of Hobnobs with a cup of Rosie though.

Right, has anyone set themselves on fire after the debacle that was part of this place yesterday?

No, so it was just me then?
