There are episodes when he can touch, especially when he becomes a hard light hologram

Personally, I prefer my tropical fish and pot plants - great stress relievers and they don't need to be taken for walks, or much looking after at all, for that matter

*toddles back*

I say, it is rather spacious within the new tower library! And a rather fine selection of literature. I have taken the liberty of hiding several bottles of whiskey within carved-out books on the shelves. Look for "The Dummies' Guide to Giving up Alcohol", and "Wining and Dining for the Modern Man". There are several copies littered about.

One should think not, it is an endangered species, the manatee or sea cow.

I would imagine that it tastes rather like salted beef

Corned beef is, as then name suggests, beef that has been "corned" whatever that is. The ingredients list on one particular tin states that it is over 90% beef, with sugar, salt, and water. Plus the obligatory conservative.

I believe that white stuff may merely be fat, though it could also be a variety of the jelly they use in pork pies.

In my mind Rimmer matured in the later series. Maybe he and Lister reached a point where they started to cancel each other out. Maybe he saw the futility in getting angry at somebody who didn't give a toss. Or maybe time just gave him a slap round the head and he grew up. We may never know.

An interesting theory has come to my attention. Being that I probbably have a better chance of getting myself a shag if I actually go out and meet people rather than sitting at home. As one was paid at midnight last night, one will be hitting the town and trying to conquor one's discomfort in meeting new people. If I'm not in bead by 10, I will come home.

About bloody time, indeed. But it's good to see earthly faiths getting a good rep, instead of all this medieval superstitious paranoic witchcraft dogma.
